There's a Tear in My Drano
...which brings us to today. Geez, what a week. I think I'm really (really)
all set up at this point...but alas, even the best laid plans of mice and gibbons go awry. I
could not foresee the fact that my modem's whacked-out, meaning a connection of longer than five
minutes is an almost hopeless luxury. No problem getting on with my Dreamcast, though, and in
case anyone's interested, I've uploaded five of my original Chu² puzzles: "Green Hill Zone",
"Embrace the Magic!", "Of ChuChus and Men", "Samba de ChuChu", and "Gate of Your Dreams". To
access them, head into the Chu² Lobby and make your way to the USA Puzzle room. Go to the "G"
section, then into the "G-00" folder. Look for my name ("Green Gibbon!"), and head into that
room for my puzzies. (I'm particularly proud of "Of ChuChus and Men".) That should hold y'all
over until I can set another GHZ ChuChu battle, which will hopefully turn out more successful
than the first disastrous attempt.
Hey, if you love those old Tiger handheld Sonic games, or ever wondered what
Sonic on Game Boy would look like, sit down 'cause this news is gonna make you flip. Are you
prepared for what might happen when Sonic Goes Cellular?
What else've we got going? Alright, a picture of the Japanese and US Sonic
Drift 2 cartridges side-by-side was added to the Media section of the
Sonic Drift 2 museum page, courtesy of famed MIDI
sequencer John "EspioKaos" Weeks. From "Meowth44" comes details on two more Sonic
cameo appearances in a couple of early DC titles: one in
Sega Bass Fishing (aka Get Bass), the other in Blue Stinger. New info has
been added to the Spinball and
Sonic R pages. Oh yeah, and I don't think I ever
mentioned it before, but the Bit Players Sonic profile
page was updated a couple weeks ago, now including bios on Wocky, Becky, Locky, and Tocky.
(Thanks to Dave Bulmer, Abby, & Chris Hughes.)
I guess that's alot of stuff for one week, innit? I'll try the whole daily
updates thing again starting Monday, but no guarantees it's going to work. Oh yeah, apparently
SNK is going to be recalling all of its domestic products beginning Tuesday. The official
announcement hasn't been made yet, and it's possible this is all some sort of wild publicity
stunt...but just in case, you'd better dash out and pick up Sonic Pocket this weekend if you
haven't already.

You can blame this page on Jared "Green
Gibbon!" Matte. If you're female, feel free to punish him as you see fit (just don't take
away his collection of h-doujinshi). But make no mistake, NEO GHZ is a part of
SonicNEXT. Sega owns Sonic Team (or
is that vice-versa?). Space provided by VGHQ.com.
