The Result of 50 years of robotic technology and all of it before our time, she's a very realistically constructed android foxgirl who is the closest anyone on Earth had come to Data from Star Trek: The Next Generation. She has that certain bright and cheerful attitude that easily quells any misgivings toward robots in everyone, and is in general welcomed in the general populace in Sunport for her 'when in doubt, be cute' personality, despite the occasions when she gives herself away as an android. It is her robotic feature of saving the records from her daily activities which provide the majority of the footage for this strip.
Adam "Daveykins FoxFire" Packbell: Main Investigator--BakaBreakers Employee/Owner
Anime Otaku, Reality Television Freak, Arcade and Card Gamer, and dabbler in computer hacking; Adam, or any derivative of his Internet Name including the initials 'DVK' depending on who's addressing him--is your classic 3v1l mull37-h34d3d l33t ('evil mullet-headed leet' for those who don't speak the lingo, and subtitles will be enforced when applicable). Adam arrived in Sunport along with Tara to find a quite place to settle down and make a decent life for himself, but he can't seem to keep from bringing some character to an otherwise sleepy town on the Maine Coast. Tends to end up near where the proverbial action is, intentionally or not.
Aline Rabbit: Investigator--Currently Unemployed
Tara's predecessor according to prototype models and is considered a big sister to her, Aline is a product of an noble experiment in robotics and artificial technology which was taken over by a group of geeks who had more Playboy Magazines than they had actual dates . . . okay, they had every issue that came out and wouldn't consider going on dates, not when they can steal Aline from NeoGizmoTech's founder and reprogram her to be an interactive android cocktail waitress slash inflatable doll! Aline was eventually recovered and returned to NGT, now run by the founder's son, but her loose personality and programming remain permently burned into her ROM unfortunately. Getting her to change from her wild and sexy ways is a constant challenge.
