Chapter 1: The Begaining
Sonic has just defeated Robotniks latest scheme, the Death Egg (See Sonic 2). Even though he should be happy, he is thinking about his parents. He was only 7 when they dissapered with his Sister, Linda. Sonic was playing with Porker Lewis and Johnny Lightfoot when he herd a loud explosin. He went to see what it was when he saw it was his own house. His family was gone. He saw Ashura at the doorway. He had a evil glare in his eye. Sonic quickly burrowed into the ground, and spent years in seclusion, until he met Dr. Kintobor, not knowing how his family asociated with him. Sonic was playing with Tails when the ground shook underneath him. "Sonic!' Tails yelled. "Tails, HELP!" Sonic yelled back, but it was to late, Sonic went under. Sonic kept falling until he hit the ground. He became unconsious.
Chapter 2: The New Green Hill Zone
Sonic awoke to a familer surounding. "The Green Hill Zone?" Sonic thought. He noticed that it wasn't the same. The sky was black. The place was dirty and grimy. The loops were half destroyed. There was no sign of any fun. Sonic then herd a familer voice. "Hello, Sonic." Sonic turned around and saw a green hedgehog with a blck stripe. "Ashura!" "Corect, brother." "What is this place?" "I like to call it, the new Green Hill Zone. If you remember, when are parents dissaperd, I changed. It was a change of evil. I hated Mobius and everything about it. So I built this underground zone of how I want the Green Hill Zone to be." "Ashura, come with me to the surface. I could get you some help." "I dont want any of your help, Sonic. I hate you and the rest of the family for leving me." Ashura then seems to brake down and start crying. "Ashura, brother, plese, we could be friends again. Just come up to the surface with me." "O.K., NOT!!!" Ashura grabs Sonic and throws him across the ground. Sonic says, "Ashura, plese calm down." "NO!!!! I don't want any help. I saw what hapend to our house. Protesters came and destroyed our house. I don't know why. I was right there. They could have taken me wherever they went." Ashura reches tword a mountin be them, pushes a button on it, and 20 Bandiks of diffrent sorts attack Sonic. He trys to fight them off, but more come and he is defeated and knocked unconsious.
Chapter 3: The Ashura Battle
Sonic awakes, finding himself dangling from a rope over a large pit of lava. "Ashura, come out and fight like a hedgehog!" "Oh come on now, I thought you knew me better then that. Like I would ever fight without help." "And I thought you knew me better too." Sonic then spins into a super spin attack and gets out from the rope. "Oh, I thought of that." Force fields then appear around the lava pit and the lava starts to spit itself out to Sonic. "Luckily," Sonic thinks to himself, "I brang with me the Chaos Emeralds and some rings." He turns into Super Sonic and and falls into the lava. "What the!?" yells Ashura, who is quickly distracted by a golden blow to his jaw. "So, you want to play dirty, huh?" says Ashura. He then goes into a hut and it turns into a machine that looked remarkably like the Death Egg. "Eat dirt, Sonic!" Ashura uses the robotic arm and knocks Sonic into the ground. "You underestimate my power, Ashura" Sonic says. He goes into a spin dash and goes right into the center of the robot. He quickly destroys it. "You want to fight hedgehog to hedgehog?" Ashura says, "Well so be it!" Ashura pulls out a Chaos Emerald that is black. "This is the evil emerald. It will give me simeralr powers to yours." Ashura turns into Anti-SuperSonic and punches Sonic in the stomech. Sonic then kicks Ashura in the legs. Ashura gets off balence, and Sonic hits him rapeativly. "Seems you don't know how to use your power, huh?" "Oh, but I do." Ashura's eyes turn black and anti-energy zaps Sonic. "AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" screms Sonic. "It seems that you have lost, Sonic." Sonic then feels Evil overcoming him. His eyes turn into black and he stares at Ashura. "You're beat" Sonic says. He runs into Ashura and knocks him down. He punches and kicks him rapetivly. He then goes and takes the lava and bandiks and sends them running threw the New Green Hill Zone and begains destroying it. Sonic takes the black Emerald and throws Ashura. A robotic arm grabs Ashura at the last second. It is Robotnik. Sonic then runs to the end of the New Green Hill Zone and starts to burrow strait threw the ground. He feels a strange force coming in that direction 200 miles north.
Chapter 4: The First Hidden Palace Zone
Sonic digs threw the ground at a alarming speed. Once he reaches his destination, the evil leves him for now. "Where could I be?" Sonic thinks to himself. "I've never seen this place before." Sonic heres a voice that he hasn't herd in a long time. "Sonic, is that you?" Sonic turns around and sees his sister, Linda. "Linda!" Sonic runs up to her and hugs her. Sonic then begains to talk. "But I thought..." Linda interupts him. "Not right now. Lets go to the living area." Sonic agress with her and starts off with his sister. When Sonic's sister stops, Sonic goes in and sees his parents. "Mom! Dad!" His father starts to talk. "Sonic, is thta you?" "Yes it is." They hug and talk. Sonic sits down and begains to talk about whats happend to him so far. His mother interupts. "I remember Kintobor, in more ways then one." "What do you mean?" Says Sonic. His mother starts off with the events that really happend that day years back. "Me, your father, Dr. Kintobor and Mr. Boobowski, another famous scientist of the time started to work on the R.O.C.C. Most of the public was happy about it, but some were not. This group did not want us to tampler with mother nature." Sonic interupts. "Why didn't you tell me about your life?" "Because you were to young." Sonic's mother continues. "The group of rebels did not want us to tamper with mother nature, so they went to Boobowski's house and killed him. Then they went looking for Dr. Kintobor. He went underground with the unfinished R.O.C.C. He was one of the lucky scientists. A huge uproar came, a war that was the scientists vs. the group of rebels. We didn't want anyone to be alarmed by the recent happings, so we started to make a secret underground home, a Hidden Palace, so to speak. The war was on another part of Mobius, so you didn't hear about it, but the rebals came to our house. You wern't near us as you know. Neither was Ashura. When they came, we had to go underground. We grabed Linda, but couldn't get you or your brother. We lost the grey Chaos Emerald we had just found and our house was destroyed. Science then, we have lived in seclusin and the war has ended, the rebals thought the R.O.C.C. had been destroyed and it's plans." Sonic's father then notices the Emeralds Sonic has. "Sonic, are those the Chaos Emeralds?" "Yes they are." His father also notices a black one among them. "Son, where did you get that black one?" "Me and Ashura had a fight and I got this from him." "That is the evil emerald. I sugest that you get rid of it as soon as possible." "Don't worry, I wont use it."
Chapter 5: Robotnik comes
The New Green Hill Zone has been destroyed. In it's rubble though, are two figures talking. "Look, Robotnik, you hate the hedgehog and I do to." "I know, Ashura." "Well, I was thinking, maby we could form a alience to destroy him." "Mabey we could. I have created a few new zones to keep him occupied. Where is he, though?" "I have located the Black Chaos Emerald Energies 200 miles north of here. Sonic has it." Then let's go." Robotnik and Ashura go in Robotniks hover craft and fly over to the tunnel. They go threw it. Meanwhile, Sonic and his family are sleeping in their own bedrooms. Sonic's sleeping in his bed that was left for him if he ever found his parents. There was also one for Ashura. Sonic starts to toss and turn in his bed. He starts to get all sweaty and moans. A sudden black glow appers over him. He opens his eyes and they are black. He gets up and he turns black. He starts to destroy his room. His parents come to his room and see him. "Sonic! Stop it!" His parents say. Sonic looks over to them. The glow stops and he goes back to normal. He then faints. A few hours later, he wakes up. "Wha?" Says Sonic. His sister cuts in. "Sonic, our parents stayed up all night after you. There asleep now. You are not stable. You shouldn't go out and fight Robotnik soon." "I need to. He could strike at any moment" "Listen! If you do, you could get out of control. You would start to destroy everything in sight. After a while, you may even kill someone." Just then, Robotnik appears above them. "Hello, Sonic!" Says Robotnik. "Linda!" yells Ashura. "Ashura! Why did you go with the likes of him." "Because you left me behind." "Ashura, we could have brought you, you were just not their at the time." "I can never forgive you! I will destroy everyone here if I have any say." Sonic then starts to feel sweaty.
Chapter 6: Sonic's Out of Control
Sonic starts to feel sweaty. His hands turn black and so do his eyes. Soon his whole body is black. He has a black glow. Sonic feels all the hatred in the world and uses it to knock Robotnik out of the air. "So, Sonic, I see that you are turning evil. If you want, I could let you join me and Ashura." "NOOOO!" screams Sonic. Linda says, "He is not truly evil. It would take months before he became truly evil." "I could speed it up, just like I speed up Amy Rose's age. HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Sonic takes Ashura and throws him into his room. "I WILL desTROy YoU!!" says Sonic. He destroys the foundation of Ashura's room and the room colapses on Ashura. Sonic leves him there and heads to Robotnik to kill him. Robotnik says, "Sonic, I don't think its time for you to defeat me. I still think that you need to face some more challenges." Robotnik opens up a portal and seends Sonic to the Wood Zone.
Chapter 7: The Wood Zone
Sonic feels a conflict inside him. His good self is trying to defeat the evil energy inside him, but his good side is losing. Meanwhile, Sonic lands in a place made out of wood. He sees lumberjack bandiks and with his evil eyes destroys them. The anamils inside them quickly run away. He storms threw the wood buildings that were infront of him. They are all destroyed. He then thinks of Amy Rose. He feels the goodness inside him to win the war inside of him, but a beam hits Sonic and he feels the evil going threw him faster then it was before. Sonic thinks, "I MuSt KeEp MySeLf SaNe LoNg AnOuGh To DeFeAt RoBoTnIk." Meanwhile, Ashura gets out from under the rubele he was under. He grabs Linda. "I will destroy you and your parents." "Their your parents too." "I don't think so." Ashura throws Linda into her room. He goes in and hits her. "You better stay here, Linda, or else." He leaves Linda in her room while Linda is trying to make a plan to stop Ashura. Elsewhere, Sonic goes threw the wood zone where even the ground is made of wood. He makes his way to the boss. It is a metal tree with fire coming out of all sides. Sonic uses his evil eyes to destroy the puny tree, as he called it. The tree goes down with a crash and Sonic runs fowerd. He sees the end of the Wood Zone and the begaining of the Rocky Cave Zone.
Chapter 8: Rocky Cave Zone
A worried Tails has a feeling that Sonic is in trouble. He stands where Sonic was and nothing happends. Tails then digs threw the ground to find Sonic. Sonic, on the other hand, was going into the Rocky Cave Zone. "ROBOTNIK CALLS THIS A CHALANGE? HAHAHAHAHA.....No must be calm.... I DONT THINK SO!!!" Sonic runs right threw the cave, not even stoping until he reached the end. "I want to stop, but can't" thinks Sonic. In the Hidden Palace Zone, Ashura goes to another part of the palace to find his parents. "Come out, come out wherever you are." His father comes out and says, "Now son, please calm down. I know we left you, but we still love you." "You could have come looking for me, you know." Ashura knocks down his father and goes to his mother standing father away. "What are you scared of, Mother? Of me? Well, you should be!" Ashura then knocks down his mother. Sonic keeps runing threw the Rockey cave Zone, Looking for the boss. He sees a hill shaped rock pointed at the end. There are spikes everywhere on it. It starts shooting the spikes at Sonic, but they just reflect back at the robot. After a few seconds, the robot destroys itself. "TIME...to...CONTINUE WITH MY DESTRUCTIVE RAMPGE!!!!!!!!!...........no, must control mySELF."
Chapter 9: Desert of Doom
Tails continues on his digging to find Sonic. After digging for a while, Tails falls into the remains of the New Green Hill Zone. "Why was Sonic here?" Tails starts looking for Sonic in the rubble. Sonic runs into the Desert of Doom. He sees cactisus with posin everywhere. He sees in the distance a toxic river. "RoBoTnIk, PrEpArE tO mEaT yOuR DoOm!" He runs past the posin and the toxic. He even destroys the cactisus for spite of Robotnik. In the Hidden Palace, Robotnik finds Ashura. "Well, what have you done?" "I've defeated my parents and my sister. Also, some of the rooms have been demolished." "Where are your parents?" "They are in the main hall." Robotnik goes to the main hall in his hovercraft. Sonic's father gains consinous and looks up. He sees Robotnik. "Well, you tyrant. It seems you've goten out of your little hovercraft." "Enough chit-chat, lets get down to bussness, shall we?" "What bussness do we have to discuss. Can't you just be Dr. Kintobor again?" "Kintobor is gone! He will never be again!" "I dought that." "I have come to destroy you!" Robotnik then takes a lazer and aims it at Sonic's father. "Our old partnership with my old life ended years ago. This is so the R.O.C.C. never comes again!" Robotnik zaps him, and Sonic's father dies. Sonic's mother starts to stir. Robotnik kills her, to. Meanwhile, Sonic finds the boss of the Desert of Doom. It is a statue that shoots lazers and acid. With a glance, it is destroyed. "NOW, ROBOTNIK, IT'S TIME FOR THE FINAL FIGHT!!!!!!!" Sonic runs back to the Hidden Palace.
Chapter 10: The Final Battle
Sonic returns to the Hidden Palace. He goes to Linda's room and finds it empty. He hears crying from the main hall. He goes there and sees Linda crying. "WHats the Matter?" Sonic feels the evil leaving him at the time. Linda says, "Robotnik killed our parents." Sonic feels a sudden chill run down his spine. His parents he found after all those years are now dead. "I'LL KILL ROBOTNIK!!!" and with that he turns evil again. He runs to Robotnik and makes him crash. "HOW DARE YOU!!!" Sonic kickes him repeativly. "Soon, you will be with me," says Robotnik. He takes a lazer and aims it at Sonic. When he starts it, Sonic feels the evil accelerating. "NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" "Yes, little rodent. You will be my willing slave." "Never." "Yes you will." "Noo..........I SERVE Ev...il.........no YES!!!!!!!!" "I will make you desroy the Mobius as we know it." "Y...n...E....o...S" "And for the fun of it, I'll make you kill your sister, your friend Tails, and your girlfriend, Amy Rose." "YE...........NOOOOOO!!!!!" With that, the evil leaves Sonic. "What happened?" "Your downfall, Robotnik." Sonic turns into Super Sonic as Robotnik turns his ship into a boss with long arms and legs that zap lazers. Robotnik starts to shoot the lazers, but Sonic holds up the black Emerald. The lazer hits it, and his machine is destroyed, as is the Black Emerald. Robotnik quickly escapes. "I'll get you next time, Hedgehog." Robotnik leaves the Hidden Palace.
Epilouge
Sonic and his sister, Linda, bury their parents. Linda gives Sonic a machine. "Our father was making this before he died. It is to help locate the Grey Emerald. I want you to take it in hopes it will work." Linda then brings sonic to another machine. "This will send you back to the surface." "But what about you?" "I'll fix things up here. I'll still live here, but I think I will visit the surface much more." Sonic is then transported back to the surface. He sees a tunel leading to the underworld. "Tails" Sonic thinks. He runs down and gets Tails and brings him up to the surface before he found the Hidden Palace. "Why did you do that?" says Tails. "Because," says sonic, "the underworld is no place for you. Do you promise that you will never go down there?" "I do" "Good" Sonic then fills up the hole, and him and Tails walk away, talking anout nothing inperticular, but Sonic with a better understanding about the past.
