There is no wrong way to read the works of SONIC FAN. Even his lesser known works have something of merit, moments between characters that will stick with the reader. However, even the author has admitted that there are some stories in the greater Sonic Fights Robotnik canon which are just not up to snuff.
After finishing Sonic Fights Robotnik 9: Episode I, SONIC FAN reassessed the series as whole, including the mini-series Shadowfox. Over the next five years, the author went into a deep pilgrimage of the soul, and on the other side? A full rewrite of Sonic Fights Robotnik VII emerged, bridging the gap between the classic stories of 1998 and the reborn saga of 2010.
Updating his website, the Sonic Fights Robotnik saga was presented as a whole. With Blue Apple given a proper place in the timeline, the true and canonical order of the ten part series was finally made clear to the fanfiction connoisseur. For over four years, it seemed the saga was complete.
Then, Sonic Fights Robotnik 10 came out.
