Susan Traveller Character Design by: Drew Rhine Species: Mouse (White fur, with blond hair and green eyes.) Nationality: United States of America Occupation: Assistant and Girlfriend to Johnny Briz Sword Knight backup Fighting Style: Wushu Kung Fu Susan came from a snow-covered mouse village in Wisconsin, which could claim a descendency from the Rat Kingdom that affected Hong Mao's ancestery. (I refer to Hong Mao and Lan Tu's second season) The village was destroyed with Susan the sole survivor. Nobody knows for sure what happened, including Susan, but the possibily of a winter storm bring the culprit. Unknown to everyone, it was Sigurd who caused it. It was also Sigurd who picked up Susan and put her under his mental control. He made her into a powerful thrall under Sigurd's control, valued both by her warrior-like fighting spirit and her "Bag of Surprises," a sholder bag that can pull out anything limited to Susan's own imagination. When Sigurd heard of Johnny Briz and his amulet because of some dates between Susan and Johnny before her village's destruction, he sent Susan to him, without memory of the time between the loss of her village and being found by Johnny. She was programmed to woo Johnny and take the amulet from him, but something happened threw everything off kilter: The amulet sensed the danger and without its owner's awareness erased Susan's memories from the point of her village's destruction. She was then found by Johnny who took her in, only knowing that she has suffered the loss of her home and any memories on how she came here. Johnny settled with the "Let the memories come back on their own time" track with memory loss and Susan agreed.. Personality-wise, she's a perfect example of a Yandere girl. Kind, loving, caring, and even timid one moment, fierce to the point of psychosis the next. Usually it's seeing people she cares for in danger that does the trick, especially her Johnnie, but even an unwanted advance of lewd comment to her 32D figure would be enough to trigger her. There will be a fine example of this the moment she and Johnny enter Hong Kong, where she goes Chun Li all over Porkchop in a scene reminiscent of Clannad. It even includes a hit counter and an "ULTRAAAA COMBOOOOOO!!!" at the end. She's sort of like Miss Piggy. (Needless to say, I don't like Porkchop) Life in China needs some time for the nervous Susan to get used to. Fortunately, having Lan Tu, Sally, and Violet around to help her out is a plus. They might even plan a more proper wedding for her and Johnny. Even Jade Tu comes into the act stating her concern over what happened to her mind, and wishes to help her with the rest of her training. This comes into play when Lan Tu goes on her own quests; Susan joins her as an apprentice. This above pic is just to give you an idea about her figure and fur colors. She'd try on anything that'll fit her and keep what's practical . . . or what could draw her Johnny's eye. Below are some examples: Susan's Bag of Surprises At first glance, Susan's fabled "Bag of Surprises" would look no more than a green canvas shoulder bag. A bag Susan, like any other woman, guards with her life. (When in public, she slings it across her body so it won't be snatched.) It's when she opens it when the bag shows it's true color. It's a take on a popular gag from American cartoons where a woman's purse can hold everything and the kitchen sink. Susan can reach into her "Bag of Surprises" and pull out anything she puts her mind to, from passports to heated pizzas to mallets to even military grade weaponry, as long as she's able to pull it out of the flapped over opening. As she mentions it, she tells of the main reason why she can go Yandere on people: She was raised since birth to keep that bag from anyone who wants to use it for evil, and there's always one or two jerks out there who would. (Maybe even the Itto clan until they find out that it's not nice to mess with a girl's purse.) Fortunately for her stress level, she fell in love with someone who wanted her for her, not just for her bag. |
