When signs showed their return, she was sent to join her long time boyfriend, Hong Mao, as he searched the world collecting the swords and bringing the new Sword Knights together. There was a bit of a trying time for her when one of the swords she hoped to have, the Ice Sword, passed her over for another person, but she eventually gets through it and becomes a valued addition to the Sword Knights, and eventually getting that Ice Sword by the end of the series. Her time in the shrine has given her extensive knowledge in chi-based magics, especially with healing and acupressure points. She would have been a chief priestess, but her relationship with Hong Mao sidelined that. She also knows how to use otherwise harmless objects, such as threads and silks, to defend herself, in fact, she always keeps a silk scarf with her which she can use to fly. Blue’s kind and giving heart is in match with her abilities. Her giving spirit will take her into multiple scenes of self-sacrifice along the series; her own well-being is unimportant when there’s someone else is in need, especially someone dear to her. Unfortunately, her heart and spirit also gives her a sense of naivete toward others. It’s hard for her to think of everyone outside of ‘Good Guys’ and ‘Bad Guys,’ and it’s very easy for her to be taken advantage of. However, she doesn’t seek payback when that happens, which proves karmatic on her tormentors. |
