Sword Knight Council

Jade Tu is the sole remaining member of the pride of Chairman Mao's Communist China during World War II.  The Seven Sword Knights during the 30s and 40s fought bravely against the invading and occuping force of Imperial Japan, and was the most powerful agent in the Allies until the Americans dropped the Atomic Bomb on Hiroshima.

The swords remained a much-valued treasure until the fifties, when the swords vanished.  Jade Tu gave an enigmatic prophecy created by a series of visions that showed the Swords return, only this time, they reappear all over the world.  Only the Fire Sword remains in China.

Jade's age also gives her enourmous intelligence and wisdom, as well as a form of telepathy which could be more learned than inheret.  She's sees a lot of play early on when she sends Lan Tu to America to find the Lightning Sword, and she arrives in Panda House to help get everyone on the same page, as well as to get Johnny started on his own path to elightenment.  She also provides her own insight to why the Ice Sword chose Isabel over Lan Tu.






The Seven Swords Council.


Long before Hong Mao has ever heard of the Swords, Jade Tu foresaw the need to have a body capable of guiding the future (and predominately youthful) Sword Knights.  To give them the needed wisdom and instruction for their destiny.  For this end, she created a council with the previous Knights, and eventually their descendants.  They normally meet quarterly so that they can be kept up to speed with each other, but since the swords’ return, they keep in constant contact, keeping watch over the what is happening and what the Sword Knights would face.
