Character Design by: Daveykins FoxFire and Ivan Mayne Species: Bat (Fruit Bat, that is. She's quite Vegan) Nationality: Austria Occupation: Musician International Sword Knight Sword: Twilight Fighting Style: European Fencing Cassandra is your text book example of the shy, lonely, and misunderstood teenage girls out there. Not only is she a quiet kid who's a member of a punk community that lives under a music hall in her home town, but she also has to deal with being a Bat in a part of the world rife with superstitions about Vampires. The stereotype of her drinking blood--even as she's sucking down an orange as it's being mentioned to her--is one of her pet peeves. She thought she was going to be one of the loneliest girls in the world, until a trio of animals from China told her that, in their home land, bats are considered good luck. Needless to say, when she was discovered to be the Twilight Sword's owner, she gladly accepted their offer to join the International Sword Knights and go to Hong Kong with them. Being that the GreatDreams characters were among the first to see through the stereotypes and prejudices of her home land to see the real Cassandra, she quickly becomes a true friend to them. However, the alienated upbringing she had shows in a form of insecurity and low self-esteem issues. She hopes that learning Chinese Swordplay to add to her fencing skills will provide a needed boost to her self-image. She's usually quiet and shy at first, but eventually becomes friendly to those she warms up to. Almost all of her outfits are backless because of her wings, membrane-like additions to her arms that stretch out from her shoulder blades. They do allow her some limited flight capability, provided she has both arms free. |
