The scene opens up to show a pastel-colored, rather cartoony-looking outdoor landscape. Sitting in the grass and playing with her cute little dolly was the ultra-kawaii Chibi-Lynxara. She hummed happily, posing her doll. Suddenly, there was a *BAMF* and a puff of smoke, and Chibi-Dark Sonic appeared! He sneered evilly at Chibi-Lynxie, and laughed. "Ahhh...I have you now, Lynxie-poo!" Poor Chibi-Lynxie adorably clutched her dolly tight and sobbed. "No! If you kill me, I'll die!" "Grrrr! Gimme that!" Chibi-Dark Sonic snatched the doll away, brutally ripped off its head, and tossed the broken doll away, Chibi-Lynxie could only power cry (ala Usagi). "WAAaaaaaahhh!..." "Bwah! Hah Hah Hah!" Chibi-Dark Sonic laughed in a strangely sinister but adorable way. His laughter promptly stopped as Chibi-Lynxie summoned a large Dimensional Mallet (tm) and brained the super-deformed villain across the head. "Tee Hee!" Chibi-Lynxie giggled as he fell unconscious. She then spun around to the camera and pumped a fist outward triumphantly... 3A: Attitude. As the opening commercial fades to black, the distinct voice of Jim Ross can be heard. "What the *hell* was that?" ----------------------------------------------------------------- ------- The Author Avatar Association presents the return of... Fight Scene! Sponsored by Shinra Incorporated. Battle Arena Gold Saucer The outside cameras scanned an extravagant complex that glittered with blazing neon colors and bright spotlights. The vast amusement park/casino the camera showed hovered on a column raised above hilly landscape. Fireworks were going off in the night sky, signaling the beginning of a festive and long awaited occasion. "You are looking *live* at the Gold Saucer, a technical marvel of architecture and entertainment located here in realm of Final Fantasy VII!" Mike Tenay's voice proclaimed over the panning view. Closer shots revealed a mass of visitors (a motley group of citizens, soldiers, and Chocobos) enjoying the rides and sights of the amusement center. The cameras finally faded to an overhead view of the stone-floored Battle Arena. There the ring and entrance rampway were set up, surrounded by a shallow pool that divided them from the stands. A stream of laser lights illuminated the arena as the sound system cued up The Fugee's "Ready or Not", signaling the beginning of the Fight Scene. The camera finally rested at the announcers desk, where 3A's usual commentating team were standing by. "Good evening to all our viewers throughout the Multiverse, and welcome to Fight Scene!" Jim Ross welcomed, almost drowned out by the cheering crowd. "The Author Avatar Association has finally recovered from the ravaging onslaught of Dark Sonic and his Horde, and has returned to continue bringing you the best in Avatar combat." "And what better place to have the return of the 3A than at the fabulous Gold Saucer! WHOO!" Ric cheered. "This has definitely been one of the AAA's more *stylish* venues..." Ric paused as a large plush Mog approached with the drinks. The gentle beast formally presented the commentators with their beverages, bowed with a fanged grin, and waddled off. "... but the staff takes a while to get used to," Ric finished a bit more quietly. Tenay had been working for the AAA long enough to know when to change the subject. "Anyway, tonight begins the Author Avatar Association tag team tournament." The camera cut to a shot of the tag-team championship belts, emblazoned with massive silvery plates, in their display case as Tenay continued. "Lots of promising competition has joined this new division. We'll also be seeing some more new competitors in the weeks to come..." Tenay paused as Green Day's "2000 Lightyears Away" cued up. "... like this young man, the NPWA Cruiserweight champion... Aron Scythe!" The crowd cheered solidly as the thin, yet still athletically built wrestler came down to the ring. Aron himself seemed to be taken a bit off guard by the ovation, awkwardly running a hand through his long, messy brown hair as he made his way to the ring. "Quite a response to this young man!" Ric noted, impressed. "When we last saw him, way back at Otakumania, he was competing for a minor e-fed when he got mind controlled by Hell-in-a-Bunny-Suit himself, Pippkin." "That's right, Ric. But since then, he's put his life back together and risen through the e-fed ranks to become one of the premiere cruiserweight fighters for NPWA. You have to admit, he's come quite a long way," Tenay added respectfully. Aron rolled into the ring and leapt up to one of the middle turnbuckles to greet the crowd, proudly holding the NPWA Cruiserweight belt at his side. "As always, the notorious Anne Brandies accompanies Aron to ringside, along with..." JR paused and squinted at the lovely, wheelchair-bound Japanese girl who looked on from the floor with Anne. "That would be Tomoe Ami, the girl Anne was talking about at Otakumania," Tenay informed him. JR didn't reply, but did silently wonder exactly how much spare time Tenay had on his hands. A techno rhythm, the DJ Dado remix of the X-Files theme, then replaced Green Day's lyrics. A proud youth in a modified green and black plugsuit strolled confidently to the ring. The Child rather obnoxiously chewed his gum as he entered through the ropes and gestured imperiously for a mic. "Aron's first *match* in the 3A will be against this young man, D.J. Croft, who hails from England," Tenay began with noticeably less enthusiasm. "While D.J.'s... er... *confidence* and unusual lineage have gained him quite a reputation across the multiverse, it'll be interesting to see what this young Eva pilot can do against a seasoned ring veteran like Scythe." Ric fumed as he watched the aura of confidence D.J. wore manifest itself in some *very familiar mannerisms. "Yes, I've heard several things about this boy myself..." JR sighed and quickly cut off his grumbling colleague. "Well, it looks like Croft has some words for the Psycho Nerd..." "I am quite grateful that this organization would choose such a worthy fighter for my first opponent, but I have a few concerns," DJ began as he turned to the outside of the ring, to address the Gold Saucer crowd in general. "First off, I'm *sure* an experienced wrestler like yourself is aware of how perilous it is to leave a vulnerable, paralyzed girl at ringside is, am I right, Mr. Scythe?" "Oh, *this* is new..." JR observed flatly as he listened to D.J.'s condescending lecture. "And Aron does not seem happy about Mr. Croft's *advice*... and neither does Miss Brandies," Ric smirked. "Fortunately, our veteran robo-ref Robby has seen this trick before," Tenay noticed as the robo-ref gave DJ an impatient glance. However, the Child continued. "Though, I should suppose safety isn't a crucial issue in your parent organization, the NPWA, a federation that's brought such *brilliant* concepts to the realm of professional wrestling as the Lethal Injection and Electrified Cage Match," DJ continued with a confident, irritating smirk. "But, hey! I'm a sportsman, above anything else. I'm willing to humor you, Aron. And I can assure you, I won't resort to your own federation's barbaric tactics at *any* point in time during this match, to help insure the *safety* of Miss Tomoe." "Is he trying to disqualify Aron with a plot device?" JR commented, confused and a hair worried. "I don't think so, Jim. Robby's programming is too advanced now to fall for that," Tenay dismissed. "So is D.J. just trying to make an ass of himself?" JR asked incredulously over the storm of boos that had arisen to greet DJ's speech. "Either that, or he's just *being* himself," Tenay theorized hesitantly. "No, no, no," Ric dismissed the other announcers. "Trust me, Croft isn't just running his mouth. He's playin' a mind game with Scythe," Ric said with what sounded like grudging respect in his voice. "And I've got to admit, this Croft kid seems to have some potential..." DJ removed the chewing gum from his mouth, with a rather incredulous look at the jeering crowd. He gave it a slight toss and casually bapped it out of the ring, then turned back to face his opponent... just in time to receive a snap kick to the side of the head. "Then again, maybe not..." Ric shrugged. MATCH ONE: Aron Scythe vs. DJ Croft. "The bell rings, and DJ's already recovering from Scythe's assault... now the Fifth Child responds with a series of quick jabs, and... beautiful belly to back suplex!" JR began. Mike Tenay frowned slightly at DJ's sudden burst of wrestling talent, but quickly hastened to call the next move. "But The Psycho Nerd is back on his feet! Scythe sweeps DJ's leg, and applies a half-crab leglock!" "Which lasted all of... what, ten, fifteen seconds?" Ric replied with a smirk. Tenay's frown became a full-fledged glare as DJ scrambled out of the hold, forcing Aron to back off. "Well, DJ's already back on the attack, driving a series of solid kicks right *into* Scythe's leg!" JR called, oblivious to the fact that Mike Tenay was now gritting his teeth as he watched the match. "The Child maneuvers in, and takes Scythe down with a Russian leg sweep..." Flair continued. "And now a *brilliant* display of mat wrestling by the Psycho Nerd, cinching DJ down with a double chicken wing!" Tenay suddenly exclaimed. DJ managed to get back up, and attempted to launch his opponent into a suplex, but Aron flipped out of it and sent DJ into a German Suplex...but only for two. "The Psycho Nerd continues his attack, flinging the Fifth Child into the ropes and *leveling* him with powerful wheel kick!" Tenay continued to enthuse. DJ simply kicked back up and attacked with a basic side kick. "Aron seems to have DJ cornered, as he just grabbed Croft's leg and... NO! DJ *flips out* of Scythe's grasp, and unleashes a *tremendous* trio of snap kicks!" JR called as the kicks hit their mark: one to the stomach, one to the chest, and one to the head. "And Croft finishes a beautiful combo with a classic snap mare into a head lock," Flair finished, quite impressed. Tenay suppressed the urge to glare at his colleague as the cruiserweight Scythe promptly shoved DJ off of him and sent him into the ropes. "*Hard* drop kick from Scythe, and DJ is sent out of the ring..." "... and right into the territory of Ms. Anne Arky," Flair chuckled. Robby backed Aron away from the ropes, while Anne showed her appreciation of DJ by landing a hard roundhouse kick that crashed squarely into his face... and had absolutely no effect on him. DJ's head snapped back into a rather casual position, smirking bemusedly as he held a hand to his cheek. The announcers were, quite frankly, stunned. Then a childlike glow dawned in Tenay's eyes. "DJ's smugness won't last long, though...it's Scythe from the top, with a *somersault senton drop*!!" After battering the Fifth Child with a series of vicious kicks, Aron finally rolled DJ back into the ring. "Scythe springs over the top rope to hit a flying body press... two count!" JR called. "DJ's back to hit feet, and manages to drill Aron with some solid knees... but the Psycho Nerd is on *fire* tonight!" Flair continued. "He grabs one... hooks Croft in... and *drops* him in a brainbuster from a fisherman's cradle!" Tenay cheered. "But once again, Aron's efforts only get him two count," JR countered tensely. DJ suddenly sprang up and unloaded a combination of punches into Scythe, finishing with a high shin kick. "DJ pushes his advantage, and sends Scythe into the ropes... Croft goes for a clothesline..." Flair began. "But the Psycho Nerd shows off his incredibly agility, and drops the Fifth Child with a spinning DDT!" Tenay called triumphantly. "Scythe knows how to recognize opportunity when he sees it... Aron pulls Croft to the corner, and heads up to the top turnbuckle..." JR said in anticipation. "This could be it..." Flair said. "It *is*! Scythe with the STARDUST PRESS!" Tenay yelled. Aron leaped from the turnbuckle, executing the spectacular and complex moonsault that turned amazingly into a 450 splash as he descended. DJ, however, simply rolled out of the way of it. The crowd groaned in disappointment as Aron slammed into the canvas, giving the Fifth Child a perfect opportunity to spring up and grab a handful of Aron's long stringy hair. "Good God! DJ just rammed a solid knee square between Aron's eyes... he cinches in the hold on Scythe's knee, grabs his head..." JR called breathlessly. "And DJ nails Aron with a Fisherman's suplex for the pin!" Flair finished. Tenay was visibly irked as he watched the three-count. "That kid just outwrestled a cruiserweight champion in his first match." JR nodded simply. "Yes, yes he did." "That is so... *dumb*," Tenay responded with as much disdain as he could muster. "And your point is?" Ric asked with a wicked smile on his face. Tenay ignored him and continued on. "However, Aron Scythe put on an incredible performance, and I for one hope to see what he can do in future as a part of the 3A." "I wish the best of luck to Mr. Scythe in the future as well... but right now, we have Michael Cole backstage with the Moon Kingdom Champion, Nav the Destroyer," JR announced, getting back to the show. "In tonight's main event, he'll be up against the Mobian Champion Kefkain to determine the number-one contender and Star Mech's opponent for InterSlam. Take it away, Mike." The WWF interviewer looked nervously at Nav, who taking great care in examining an Uzi clearly destined for use in main event. "Thanks, Jim..." Cole began awkwardly, "I'm here with the AAA Moon Kingdom Champion, Nav... and I was hoping we could get your thoughts on the upcoming match, Mr. Donovan." "A chance to face *Kronos*..." The Destroyer began with a snarl. "One of most *sickeningly* powerful Moonies in the multiverse, not to mention the brat's very own father. I'd do anything, and *will* do anything, to get my hands on him. That includes going through Kefkain." Nav then pointed his Uzi, his aim leveled toward the camera. Cole squirmed uncomfortably as Nav sneered with a violently demented gleam in his eyes. "And without your little Rhinestone of Doom, Sonic, that furball will be easy pickings. Now Mickey, as fun as this little chat has been, I got a vampire to destroy." Nav stormed out of the backstage area, leaving a much relieved Cole behind. "Well, guys, it seems the Destroyer is intense and ready for the big match tonight, let's head back to ringside." Cole dismissed. "Thanks, Mike. Our next match begins the Tag Team tournament that will determine the first titleholders in this division of the Author Avatar Association," JR began. "This match in particular has caused quite a stir." "According to Internet rumors, Taruchi has somehow managed to get the aid of the Tenth Muse of Bad Fanfiction herself, Malahelicon," Ric pondered. "However, data leaked out in advance is usually somewhat less than reliable, so there's no telling who or what we may be seeing here tonight," Tenay interrupted. "Gods or not, however, those two will have some stiff competition in the form of Shadow and Silhouette!" JR announced as "Sentimental Over the Shoulder" from Megazone 23 announced the arrival of the brother and sister team. "We've seen a taste of what these two can do at King of the Net, and will be seeing them together in sanctioned 3A competition for the first time tonight." Samantha Jones and Alexander Misamoto discussed their tactics at ringside as Republica's "Ready to Go" cued up. "And here comes Blue Thunder!" Ric proclaimed, "The divine team of Taruchi and..." The Nature Boy paused as the Light God strode *alone* down to the ring, carrying his beloved Silver Mally award. "I think we've solved your mystery, Tenay... Taruchi seems to be talking with that statuette," JR smirked. Sure enough, Taruchi was cordially addressing his Silver Mally. In fact, he even held the ropes open to allow "Mally" to pass through. Alex and Samantha gazed at the odd god, stifling their laughter. "So Taruchi's Silver Mally is the 'Malihelicon' of Blue Thunder," Tenay concluded hesitantly. "And that means that it's also Taruchi's *tag partner*!" Flair said with a grin. "Which means that this is a handicap match. This does not bode well," JR sighed with concern. "Taruchi can *not* be a healthy god..." Taruchi simply readied Mally beneath the turnbuckle and prepared for battle. Tag Team Tournament: SHADOW AND SILHOUETTE vs. BLUE THUNDER "It looks like Alex will be first in to face the Light God. Shadow opens with a solid series of punches..." Tenay trailed off as he saw Taruchi's casually dodge them. He then grabbed Alex's arm on the last punch and dragged him in for a solid knee to the chest. "Taruchi actually putting up a solid fight tonight... he whips Alex into the corner with a snap mare, and follows up with a *literally* lightning-fast combination of strikes!" Flair called. "Alex is back against the turnbuckle... and The Light God continues his assault with a faster-than-light tornado DDT!" JR continued. A baffled Alexander scrambled out of a two-count and darted across the ring to tag in Samantha. "Now the more experienced of the two vigilantes is in the ring, and she quickly forces Taruchi into the ropes! Irish Whip by Silhouette, and... she follows up with a fierce spinning back kick!" Tenay said. Flair smirked. "Well, Taruchi's putting on a much more familiar show now! He's struggling as Samantha vaults off the ropes for a somersault..." Flair blinked at what happened next. JR tried to keep the stream of commentary up, but was obviously at something of a loss for words. "It appears that Miss Jones somehow managed to go... well, *through* Taruchi..." "I think he just phased out of the way of the attack. You know, became intangible," Tenay said helpfully. "But that's... that's..." Flair stuttered. "I know, logical. My only guess is that Taruchi may finally be living up to his godhood..." Tenay replied with a shrug as Taruchi re-phased in the ring and dropped Samantha a surprise back suplex. But before the newly-confident Taruchi could continue on his attack, Silhouette lashed out her hand and connected with a superpowerful soul-charged backhand. "Tremendous blow from Silhouette, and... MAH GOD!! She's gone directly into the Lightning Fist Strike! She's literally attacking more quickly than the eye can follow..." "And it appears... yes... he is!! Taruchi is actually BLOCKING Samantha's punches!" Tenay marveled. The combo continued, Silhouette striking furiously, only to be frustrated by Taruchi's divinely quick reflexes. Samantha finally surprised Taruchi by feigning her last punch, and instead drawing out her katana. The crowd both gasped and cheered as Samantha ripped a slash into the unsuspecting Taruchi. He raised a protective force barrier up just in time to block the second slash, but blood was still trickling down from the shallow cut in his chest. "Silhouette is absolutely on the warpath now!" JR exclaimed. "She's still on the attack, forcing Taruchi into her corner... and the tag is made to Shadow!" While the robo-ref unsuccessfully tried to force the lady vigilante back to her corner, she instead launched the Light God into the ropes and felled him with a drop toe hold. Shadow followed up by launching himself over the ropes and nailing Taruchi with a guillotine leg drop. "Well, god or not, Taruchi is finding out the hazards of facing a team alone... he's *down* and it looks like all that's left to the vigilantes is to finish him off!" Flair said with a rueful shake of his head. "Now Shadow and Silhouette bouncing off ropes on opposite sides of the ring... a beautiful pair of simultaneous elbow drops!" Tenay announced tensely. "And look at what they're doing to the poor guy... they've absolutely kicked the *crap* out of him!" JR said almost sadly as he watched Taruchi curl up into a fetal position from the blows. "And Shadow is ready to end this," Flair announced, as Alex pinned the weakened Light God. Samantha got back to her feet, awaiting the end of the three count and the ringing of the bell... ... when instead, she got blasted into the turnbuckle by an enormous blast of divine energy. Alexander landed beside her, slightly scorched from his proximity to the blast. "Mah *god*..." JR breathed. "I can't believe it..." Tenay continued. "Taruchi got *pissed*!" Flair exclaimed. Taruchi was levitating above the mat, his body shimmering with a previously unseen level of power as he began focusing his next attack. "Samantha was definitely the fresher of the two competitors, and she's the first to recover..." Tenay began tensely. However, Taruchi simply gestured at her, and Silhouette was launched out of the ring by a massive explosion of energy. "I don't know what to say, folks! This is more than just an upset, it's *carnage*! Absolute *carnage*!" JR shouted as the Light God then 'blipped' over to his corner, and..." Ric blinked. "Did Taruchi just tag in his... er, partner?" "Yes.'Mally' is now the legal fighter in the ring," Tenay replied numbly. "Sweet Jesus..." Flair groaned. Alexander was barely out of the corner when Taruchi appeared next to him in a 'blip' of energy and almost casually brained him with the heavy statuette. "Shadow is out *cold*!" JR exclaimed. "Taruchi looks like he's going outside to deal with Samantha now, but first he..." JR squinted as he observed the actions in the ring. "Guys, he didn't just..." "Yes, he did," Tenay replied, calm as ever. Taruchi gently laid Mally across the unconscious ninja's chest before he slipped outside the ring to hold Samantha at bay. The robo-ref paused for a second as he scanned his programming for directions, then simply shrugged, and hovered down to administer the three-count. Flair's commentary was somewhat lacking in its usual bemused enthusiasm. In fact, it seemed a bit horrified. "Shadow just got pinned by an inanimate object..." "Well, Mally *was* Taruchi's legal partner, and she *was* the legal fighter in the ring..." "SHUT UP, TENAY!" Samantha Jones could only stand and stare, stunned, as the victorious Taruchi honored his beloved Mally. The Light God exited the ring to a surprisingly loud pop. Alexander slowly recovered and, irate, began yelling at the newly issued official-bot. Finally, the vigilante-in-training took out his frustrations. Much to Goku and Samantha's dismay, Shadow angrily kicked the robo-ref's chest and then dropped him with the Shadow's Justice (Alex's version of the Death Valley Driver/Spicolli Driver). They both entered the ring to talk down the frustrated young warrior. But Samantha, too, protested to both of the two 3A authorities about the call in more controlled anger... "Great Scott, we have a volatile situation on our hands, here..." JR worried. "And I blame all of it on Al Snow," Flair grumbled. "We'll have people wrestling inflatable pencils next..." "It was a rather *unorthodox* call, guys," Tenay noted. "But it seems that the decision will still stand: Taruchi and 'Mally' have upset the favored team of Shadow and Silhouette!" "This is already shaping up to be a most interesting night, and the excitement can only continue as we prepare for the next match of the tag-team tournament," JR enthused. "Two solid teams of veteran AAA combatants will be going at it. The Commando Rodents, the team of Agent Q and the indefatigable Kyle Hawkins -- better known to us as Wolf..." Tenay's introduction was suddenly interrupted by the opening sounds of Goldust's haunting theme. "And they'll be facing the deadly combination of Chris Caldwell and Oscar Martinez..." "Yes, the *Ladykillers*..." Ric rebutted bitterly. "A pair of perverts never deserved each other more..." A solid stream of boos greeted the duo as they approached the ring. Oscar was wearing his blue and white Vegeta-esque battle gear, while Chris was adorned in a very different outfit: a regal, flowing, white Arabian-style outfit, complete with turban and tunic. A scimitar even dangled at Caldwell's side, hung from his belt. "What's with the Lawrence of Arabia get-up Cadwell's wearing?" JR asked to himself. "I think he's about to explain that," Tenay replied Caldwell got a hold of a mic. While Cadwell adjusted the mic, the Saiyan Oscar welcomed the jeering fans with a familiar smirk, until they returned with a new taunt... "FUR-VERT! FUR-VERT! FUR-VERT!" Oscar's face quickly tightened with revulsion and he paced angrily around the ring. Chris was finally about to address the crowd when the agitated herm violently grabbed the mic. "I AM NOT A FURVERT, *DAMMIT*! I am from one of the mightiest fighting races in the multiverse. I am a Saiyan, a Saiya-jin warrior! A *WARRIOR*, dammit!" Of course, that simply made the crowd chant louder. Oscar chucked the mic back to his partner bitterly and sulked against the turnbuckle, clutching his ears. Caldwell could only sigh at the sad spectacle. "You know, after the quality performances Martinez and myself have given you fans in the past few months, you'd think a *little* courtesy would be in order..." "He's going to talk about how Dark Sonic screwed him next, isn't he?" Ric grumbled as Chris Caldwell continued. "You know, Oscar and I had nothing to gain by turning on Dark Sonic and his Horde. It was the sake for the Powers That Be, and for all of you, that we intervened at the fateful battle at King of the Net." "For crying out loud," JR grumbled, "You'd think he defeated Dark Sonic by himself..." "Now, we have returned... in a different light, improved, as a result of that event. Martinez and I will at long last prove ourselves to be the epitome of what you've come to expect of 3A's *fine* competitors..." "I guess that explains the new duds..." JR reasoned. "Yes, Caldwell's entered the 'Moonlight Knight' mentality." Tenay added with a slight degree of sarcasm. "Soulstone, I wish you a quick recovery, and to both you and your *wonderful* new husband Ankoku, a lovely vacation--" Caldwell's condescending smarm was abruptly stopped as Metallica's "Unforgiven II" cued up to the delight of the capacity filled Battle Arena. "Here come their opponents...and THEY'RE NOT WASTING ANY TIME!" JR called out, as Commando Rodents charged out of the entrance and made a beeline to the ring, with Lynxara in close pursuit. The violent mice slid agilely through the ropes and immediately began throttling the Ladykillers! MATCH THREE: LADYKILLERS VS. THE COMMANDO RODENTS "Q's already taken care of Caldwell with that iron staff, and Oscar's feeling the business of Wolf's adamantium claws!" Flair cheered gleefully as Wolf slashed away at the Saiyan warrior. Moonlight Chris struggled in his corner, reeling from the unexpected blows. "Now Wolf sends Oscar to the ropes... and a beautiful double-team by the Commando Rodents!" JR called, as Wolf and Q worked together to launch the Saiyan into the air, causing Oscar to drop face-first to the mat. "Well, the bell rings and the match is *finally* underway," Tenay began. "Wolf is the first mouse in for his team, facing off against a rather dazed-looking Oscar." "Wolf opens with some forearm shots... leans in, and uses that low center of gravity to launch Oscar with an overhead belly to back suplex!" JR continued. "One more quick knee drop from Wolf-a-rine , and then the Agent Q is tagged in!" Flair finished. Agent Q initially had control, using his staff to bind Oscar's arms up. But in a feat of Saiya-jin strength, Oscar, while being choked out, grabbed the white rodent's own staff and flung him over! "Oscar's just *disarmed* Q... and now he's using the staff himself!" Tenay announced as Oscar powerfully jabbed the staff into Q's stomach, backing him into Caldwell's corner. Oscar then turned and arrogantly hit Wolf with a violent swing of the long staff. "Wolf's temper isn't doing his partner a bit of good," JR sighed as he watched the robo-ref turn his attention to keeping the frenzied Wolf out of the ring... thereby allowing Moonlight Chris the perfect opportunity to throttle Agent Q. The crowd vengefully began a "FURVERT!" chant, but Oscar merely sneered, chucked the now-bent staff out of the ring, and tagged in Caldwell. "The *new and improved* Moonlight Chris," Ric sneered, "comes in to continue the punishment. He *floors* the Q with a knee lift, and goes for the cover... two count!" "Agent Q is quickly up to his feet and retaliates, connecting with a series of body blows," Tenay called. "Now the Commando Rodent bounces off the ropes and... Moonlight Chris is *leveled* with a flying shoulderblock!" "Q seems ready to continue the attack, and... no! Chris has kicked back up...and dear lord, he's pulling out his scimitar!" JR exclaimed. Flair's nose wrinkled in disgust as Chris began slashing away at Agent Q. "Yes, and isn't it convenient that he waits until *after* Q's already been disarmed to bring out a weapon..." Then the Nature Boy took a glance outside and grinned. "But it looks like the commandos have *another* secret weapon in their arsenal," he noted as Lynxara slipped around to Oscar's corner, and began *earnestly* chatting with him. Wolf aggressively rooted for his teammate as he narrowly dodged and wove out of the blade's way. "Caldwell is keeping up the assault, each strike coming closer and closer to hitting the mark... Caldwell lunges in with a stab... and Q evades again!" Tenay called. "Not just dodge!" Ric happily exclaimed. "Q also cinches in an armbar, and sends the Moonlight Neophyte to the canvas!" "But the Commando Rodents' size disadvantage comes into play here... Q's not heavy enough to keep Caldwell down," JR said with a shake of his head. While Chris was on his feet, though,he was still firmly caught in the joint lock. "Q's fighting with everything's he got to keep Chris out of his corner..." Flair began. The white rodent had switched to a crossface/chicken-wing combo, and was bearing down as much as he could. "But despite the pressure, Turban-boy is *still* managing to make his way to his partner!" "Fortunately, the match is the last thing on Oscar's mind right now,"JR smirked. Oscar was failing to even face the ring, happily gabbing with the cat-girl. Moonlight Chris' snarl of irritation was clearly audible, right before Q finally managed to lock in and whip Chris back with a Dragon Suplex. "It was impressive maneuver, but that seemed to take more out of Q than Chris," Tenay exclaimed with worry in his voice. "Chris is back on his feet, and Q is stumbling over to his corner... YES! And the tag is *made*!" The crowd erupted into a furious 'Wolf-a-rine!' chant, as Kyle Hawkins charged into the ring Meanwhile, Chris stumbled to his corner and sharply bapped Oscar across the back of the head in frustration. The baffled Saiyan quickly turned around, somewhat upset. "*What?*" "Just *get* in the--" The bickering stopped abruptly as Wolf slammed into Caldwell, sending him crashing into his partner. "Oscar and Wolf are already back in the ring, and business is about to pick up!" JR exclaimed as the excitement in the arena became infectious. "Wolf actually opens with a series of *head butts*, and follows up by nailing the herm with a belly-to-back suplex!" "Wolf-a-rine is on *fire* tonight! He's continues his assault, whipping Oscar into the ropes and flooring the Saiya-jin herm with a solid spinebuster," Ric announced merrily. "But it'll take more than *that* to keep Oscar down!" Tenay yelled as the Saiyan immediately kicked back up and floored Wolf with an ax kick. "Remember, he's not *just* a Saiyan, he's a *Super-Saiyan*!" As if on cue, Oscar's golden ki aura flared up... Now even *more* powerful, Oscar unleashed an onslaught of blinding-fast blows: a backhand, a side kick, and a punishing double ax handle smash. JR shook his head in amazement. "I've been a part of this federation from day one, and I've *still* never seen anything to compare to a Super Saiyan in combat... Wolf is *literally* crawling to his feet now!" "Oscar whips Wolf into the ropes... it looks like he's ready to end this by..." "YES!"Ric suddenly shouted, cutting Tenay off. "Wolf pulls it all together at the last minute to side step, *and* rip Oscar some new ventilation! WHOO!" Oscar's eyes went wide with shock as he clutched his wounded stomach. Wolf retracted his bloody claws and quickly signaled to his teammate. "Both Commando Rodents are in the ring now..." JR observed tensely. "They grab the weakened hermaphrodite, lift him up and... MAH GOD! There it is! The *double* AK-47!" "Wolf goes for the pin...1... 2... NO! Moonlight Chris runs in to make the save!" Tenay shouted as Caldwell quickly hit a leg drop on Wolf just before the pinfall. "It looks like the Moonlight Neophyte is on the warpath... Caldwell nails Agent Q with the Tuxedo... no, correction, *Moonlight* Press..." Flair said with a roll of his eyes. "But Wolf's wrath will not be denied! He's furiously assaulting Caldwell, and... and gets taken out from behind by *Oscar*!!" Tenay shrieked as the Saiya-jin herm whipped Wolf around and laid him out with a superkick! Both Ladykillers then leapt up to opposing turnbuckles, glowing with a strange aura... "This can *not* be good," JR said quietly. Wolf, once more showing his incredible stamina, got to his feet... though he was still feeling the effects of the super kick. He looked up to see his opponents just as the Ladykillers launched a pair of simultaneous energy blasts. Oscar's gold sphere of ki energy and Moonlight Chris' crackling white mystic orb slammed together on the hapless Wolf, combining and growing into the Death Blossom. "Sweet *JESUS*!" Ric barely had time to shout before an ominous energy orb quickly engulfed Wolf, simultaneously throwing off a shockwave of raw force. The Death Blossom subsided into a few stray crackles of gold and white energy, leaving a thoroughly scorched Wolf to collapse to the mat. Oscar merely had to make an effortless cover to obtain the victory. JR groaned. "He put up one hell of a fight, but Wolf and company just got edged out again." "Still, though, Wolf and Q gave those two pervs everything they had," Ric said defensively. "And with his healing factor, it looks like Wolf'll make a fast recovery from that...whatever that was." Tenay nodded in agreement. "It's safe to say that we haven't seen the last of Wolf, Lynxara, or Agent Q..." Mike abruptly trailed off, as something caught his attention. However, 'seized' might have been a better term... Wolf had rolled out of the ring and was lurching over to his teammates. A frustrated snarl was on the faces of all three furries as they made their way backstage. On the way, they passed by a mysterious and rather alluring female who regally walked down the rampway. The exquisite beauty wore waist-length pale green hair, and a black dress she had apparently been poured into. "Who in the world..." Tenay wondered in awe. He was used seeing beautiful women at work back home, but *nothing* there even compared to her. "Mah stars and garters..." JR breathed. "Umm... Ric, you're drooling." "I know," The Nature Boy grinned in happy lechery, as along with his dumb-founded colleagues, Moonlight Chris, Oscar, and pretty much every male in attendance, he watched the woman approached the ring. The Ladykillers exchanged amazed looks as the unearthly belle smiled up at them. They also seemed oblivious to the startled screams as another person descended, without aid, from the rafters! "MAH GAWD!" JR cried out, "Someone's falling from the..." "Wait a minute," Ric interrupted, as the figure somersaulted and glowed with dark-shade of energy. His descent unnaturally slowed, and he landed harmlessly and silently behind the two unsuspecting hentai. He was an imposing and powerful-looking man who wore a dark trenchcoat, along with white and black leggings and boots. A wild mane of long black hair framed his bearded face. Oscar was the first to notice his presence, turned to face him... and fell to a flying roundhouse kick! The mysterious man continued with a flurry of punches, shoving the surprised Saiyan through the ropes. All the while, the woman looked on with a knowing smile. Oscar attempted to shake off the effects of the roundhouse kick, but the newcomer climbed onto the ring apron and, with a drop kick, sent the hermaphrodite hurtling over the railing and into the pool surrounding the ring! Moonlight Chris seized the opportunity and leapt of the ring apron himself. He lowered a nasty slash across his back with his scimitar... and paused, dumbfounded, as the wound sealed up within a matter of seconds. The dark man coolly turned around to face the very surprised Caldwell, who backed away slightly. "That didn't even *phase* him!" Ric exclaimed. "Who *is* that?" JR asked. Tenay was silent... probably because he had yet to pry his eyes off of the mysterious woman at ringside. Chris then steeled himself and attacked again, throwing several desperate slashes. The stranger casually dodged, then grabbed Moonlight Chris' sword arm, bapped the blade away, and hooked him across the chest. Chris Caldwell was them slammed into the mat by a very familiar move... "A Rock Bottom?" JR wondered, bemused. The man wandered over to the ropes and pulled them apart to let the woman through. A sopping wet Oscar crawled back to his companion, just as the beginning tones of Rammstein's "Du Hast" began to play. The unearthly couple scanned the cheering audience one last time as the lights dimmed down. Violet-black pyrotechnic flames erupted from the turnbuckles, and the couple promptly vanished. The shocked Ladykillers then found themselves caught in a spotlight, illuminated by a gothic family crest. Tenay was shocked out of his stupor by their sudden disappearance, and quickly sifted through his notes. "Of course. Shaed Bloodgrave," he said quietly. "Lots of new faces popping up tonight," Flair pondered. "And one can only wonder what this new figure, the Revenant, could want in the 3A," JR said with a mystified shake of his head. Then he turned to the camera, his expression a bit more composed. "But at long last, a main event that has been the talk of 3A fans across the multiverse is about to begin! The bout between the Moon Kingdom and Mobius champions, Nav and Kefkain, is coming up next. But first, we go backstage once more to Michael Cole." Once again, Michael Cole was caught in an uneasy interview. Flanking him were the sinister Dark Sonic, and the White Wolf, Kefkain. "Well, Jim, I'm back here now with Nav's opponent, the Mobian Champion Kefkain..." Cole began, trying to unobtrusively edge away from the vampiric wolf's gaze. "...and his manager, Dark Sonic. I'm sure the public is wondering what you have planned now that you've been...ummm..." "'Weakened', Mr Cole?" the Dark One replied, shooting a chilling glare at the reporter. "Hardly. The loss of my Chaos Emerald was a setback, true, but a minor one. My Horde is hardly gone, and we *will* reign supreme in this federation. I've made a point of acquiring new soldiers of darkness, as you'll soon see. And as for Nav...well, I'll let my fighter explain." "The so-called Destroyer..." Kefkain began, glaring into the camera. "His fortitude is said to be unearthly, but he is still human. And as such, he will fall to the Eternal Darkness..." On that cryptic note, the villainous furries strode out to the arena. "Well what can I say, guys? This looks like it will be, quite literally, a hell of a match!" Cole uttered. "Back to you, guys..." The arena had gone dark, and "The Perfect Drug" had already begun to play. "Kefkain and Dark Sonic are coming down the rampway for the main event," JR mentioned, barely heard over the booming music. "There's more than just a victory at stake here: the winner of this contest will be considered the number one contender to the AAA Virtual Net championship, and will have a *guaranteed* title shot at InterSlam." "Nav's faced down the AAA's best time and again, but *this* could well be The Destroyer's toughest challenge yet," Ric nodded as the White Wolf strode to the ring. "Nav will undoubtedly have his hands full tonight. He's never had to..." Tenay trailed off as he noticed something along the rampway. "Wait a second, what's that along the..." As Kefkain walked down the metal rampway, he crossed over a barely-visible red beam, highlighted only by the smoky pyrotechnics. A faint beeping was heard... and the rampway around the two villains promptly exploded. "Good Lord! It's an ambush!" JR yelled. "And Dark Sonic is about to take a dip!" Ric couldn't help but snicker as the furry ex-tyrant was launched helplessly from the rampway into the surrounding water. Kefkain was thrown toward the ring, and was just recovering when Nav himself burst out from the crowd and over the railing. Nav coolly drew out his Uzi... "Nav's already got the artillery out, guys!" Tenay exclaimed over the gunfire. "This is *literally* going to be a war!" MATCH FOUR: NAV VS. KEFKAIN (w/Dark Sonic) "The Destroyer immediately opens fire... but Kefkain shifts into mist form!" JR called. "Nav's marksmanship may not be of *any* use in this fight!" Kefkain's mist form surged towards the Destroyer, solidified right in front of him, and ripped a massive claw across his chest. "Kefkain may be short, but he's hefting Nav with surprising ease, and... *rams* his opponent into the side of the ring!" Flair said, wincing. "Kefkain goes to send Nav into the steel steps, but a *reversal* by the Destroyer sends Kefkain crashing into them instead!" Tenay called, as the camera briefly panned away to show a drenched, angry Dark Sonic crawling back onto the rampway. "Now Nav, kicking away at the Big White Machine with those steel-toed army boots... and then he leaps onto the guard railing and vaults backwards to drop a solid elbow into right onto Kefkain's snout!" JR announced. "Fortunately, our own Veteran Robo-Ref Robby hovers down to help get this match into the ring," Tenay said. The Destroyer finally rolled into the middle of the ring to an enthusiastic pop, while Sonic counseled his undead companion outside the ring. After pausing a minute to let his wounds close, Kefkain leapt to the ring, outraged. "Nav goes to intercept Kefkain with some vicious shoulder-blocks, but... holy...!! Kefkain flips *over* and behind Nav, grabs him in a full nelson and slams him with an incredible, *violent* released suplex," a rather impressed Ric Flair announced. The vampiric wolf lunged in to deal out further punishment, but Nav leapt in and grabbed one of his legs. "The White Wolf goes down!" JR exclaimed. "Kefkain topples to the mat, and the Destroyer immediately goes to work over the Kefkain's knee and ankle." "Best way to take down a big man," Flair approved. "Nav's doing his best to wrench the Wolf's left knee, but Kefkain's long reach makes it all too easy for him to get to the ropes." "Robby's trying to break the hold, but Nav doesn't seem willing to cooperate..." Tenay began. Kekfain snarled, and then *persuaded* the Destroyer to release the joint lock...by leaning up, grabbing his head, and slashing him across the face! "A brutal move by the White Wolf and now he's..." JR paused to blink. "Well, he's basically kicking the ever-lovin' crap out of Nav." "But despite it all, Nav is *not* letting up!" Flair returned as he watched Kefkain haul weakened Destroyer up. Nav punched weakly at the vampire wolf even as Kefkain grabbed him around the throat and choke-slammed him. "That's the classic set-up for Kefkain's finishing move... AND THERE IT IS!! Nav rolls back to his knees, just in time for Kefkain to clamp on the *Soul Drain*!" Tenay shouted. Nav flailed around briefly, but remained standing. In fact... his body seemed to be stiffening in rage! "Nav is struggling in the vampire's grasp... hell, he's more than just struggling! He's fighting *back*!" JR said tensely. With a burst of speed, Nav lurched down and pulled out a machete from the sheath on his boot. "Nav's pulled a new weapon out!" Flair cheered. "And he *stabs* that blade behind him, breaking the Soul Drain!" "And that *has* to be a silver blade... look at the steam coming off Kefkain's wounds!" JR marveled. Nav glared down at his foe with new confidence, readied his blade, and lunged in for a critical strike. "It looks like Nav is ready to *end* this," Tenay said in a hushed tone. "He goes in and... and Kefkain *side-steps*! The White Wolf grabs Nav, hoists him into the air... and *slams* him face first into the turnbuckle!" "Nav's tough as nails, determined, and has too much at stake in this match to let himself lose," JR said with a shake of his head. "But Kefkain is as relentless as ever... and we've already seen that it takes more than just determination to beat that monster." Kefkain gazed across the jeering crowd as Dark Sonic cackled with approval. "I hate to say it, guys..." Ric said with an uncomfortable squirm, "... but the Destroyer may have finally run out of miracles." Nav wasn't even moving, but Kefkain did not make any attempt to end the match. "This is hideous!" JR protested in disgust. "Nav's out cold, and Kefkain's continuing to *choke* him with that massive, clawed foot!" "Absolutely horrible..." Tenay uttered with a wince. "Hold on, guys... I think the calvary may have just arrived!" Ric suddenly exclaimed, pointing over at the rampway. The camera followed, and showed a shot of the figure coming out of the entrance. "Look who's back... it's *Wolf*!" JR shouted in relief. "And... MAH GOD, look at that *gun* he's carrying!!" The commando rodent walked slowly to the ring was, a *large* and especially nasty- looking high-tech rifle slung across his shoulder. He paused outside of the ring, watching as Kefkain delivered a *second* chokeslam to the already exhausted Nav. "Dark Sonic's noticed Wolf as well, he looks like he's ready to confront him," Tenay observed. Flair smirked. "Yeah, but notice now that the demonic pincushion doesn't have the cajones to do much more than just yell at ol' Wolf-a-rine." Meanwhile, in the ring, Kefkain threw Nav into the ropes. He charged in for a lariat, but the now-recovered Nav dove under the vampire wolf and baseball-slid between his legs. JR quickly turned his attention back to the match. "Nav's finally making a comeback! He bolts up, spins... and *rips* that machete of his across the White Wolf's face." "That strike managed to *really* hurt Kefkain," Tenay observed tensely as the beast howled in unholy pain and clutched the side of his face. "Nav's taking advantage of this opportunity... he lunges in and... that's *amazing* strength! Nav has just *picked* up into a fireman's carry!" "Kid must have started using Bane's workout program," Flair grinned. "Nav is impressive, but not superhuman... he staggers under the weight, but he's still moving towards the edge of the ring... and dumps him to the outside!"JR called. As the camera followed Kefkain's descent to the concrete, it also showed Sonya Sho Robotnik charging across the pool to ringside, having obviously come out of the audience. She was ready for battle, with a Power Ring in one hand and the Magic Blade of Mobius in the other. JR blinked. "Now *Sonya's* at ringside... worlds are *colliding* in the AAA tonight!" "Dark Sonic is trying to get his fighter out of trouble, but with Wolf *and* Sonya at ringside, our resident 'Lord of Darkness' seems to be something of a loss," Flair grinned wryly. Sonya was obviously trying to provoke Kefkain into a frenzy, the White Wolf only being stopped from attacking by his suspicious manager. Meanwhile Wolf coolly approached ringside. He slid the rifle in to the middle of the ring. Upon seeing that, Nav's face glowed with a knowing, devious look. He promptly picked up the oversize rifle and took up a firing position on the top turnbuckle... "In fact, it looks like quite a few of Dark Sonic's assaults in the past months are coming back to haunt him!" Tenay observed. "Hey, we all know Wolf-a-rine doesn't like losing..." Flair said almost markishly. Wolf ambled away to the rampway, and Sonya slipped back into the crowd as the security staff approached. In a frustrated fervor, Kefkain leapt over the ropes and into the ring. When he didn't see Nav's helpless carcass lying around the ring, he then spun around... to see Nav poised above him and taking aim with a weapon that a trained eye could easily recognize as a rail gun. Nav grinned chillingly. "Open wide, baby." "Great heavens that's a... HE JUST DRILLED KEFKAIN!!" JR bellowed as Nav shot two silver spikes *precisely* into the White Wolf's shoulders, the force of the shots *literally* pinning him to the mat. "That was... he just... the sheer *accuracy*...!" Tenay groped around for words. "I think it's safe to say that this match is over now..." JR said dryly. "You may be right, Jimmy," Flair replied. The Destroyer set the rifle down, and then stood up a few minutes to play to the enthusiastically cheering crowd. He then casually turned around and leapt back, nailing Kefkain with the Desert Eagle Moonsault... and a cover. "1...2...3," Robby announced evenly. "He did it! That cinches it, now Nav is officially the number one contender for the Virtual Net championship!" Tenay called out. "It came with a little assistance from the Commando Rodent, Wolf," JR added. "A *little* help?" Ric smirked. JR ignored his colleague. "But you can not deny that this was a hard fought and well-deserved win for the Destroyer." Nav was basking in the thunderous ovation when he looked down and noticed Wolf. Casually, the military mouse withdrew a Wolfweiser from his flak jacket and chucked it to the Destroyer. He then nodded knowingly to Nav. "Hmmm... looks like the local gun enthusiasts have come to an understanding," Ric pondered. "I get the feeling this isn't it for these two..." "I hate to interrupt," Tenay nervously cut in, "But Dark Sonic just grabbing a mic, and he does *not* look happy." "You...you... you *ASS!*" The dark hedgehog shrieked. "This was *my* match, dammit! *We* have the right to destroy Kronos, not this... this *human*! This isn't over, Hawkins!" Nav was simply ignoring the dark hedgehog, and was already headed up the rampway. Wolf tromped over to the announcers desk and grabbed a mic of his own while security hit the ring. They were trying to free the spikes from Kefkain's shoulders, and having little success. "You're right, pal. This ain't over. It *won't* be over until one of us is out of here. I got a proposition for ya, quill-boy. I wanna see you at InterSlam. You bring your boys in, an' I'll bring mine. We'll fight it out one last time, in a steel cage." Wolf paused, to let the crowd's enthusiastic roar subside. "An' when it's all said and done, the first team to give up *leaves* the Author Avatar Association fer good." Wolf then threw down his microphone, awaiting the Dark One's response as the crowd cheered wildly. "A cage match, with two teams fighting... that sounds like War Games!" Tenay exclaimed breathlessly. "More like Mind Games, with that twisted hedgehog involved..." Flair grumbled. "In any case, if Dark Sonic accepts... at InterSlam, we're going to see careers end at InterSlam!" JR shouted. "With a match like that, and an AAA Virtual Net championship match between Nav and Kronos..." "... the 3A will *not* be the same after," Tenay nodded. Dark Sonic paused momentarily, as if deeply thinking about Wolf's challenge. Then the dark hedgehog grinned nodded at Wolf with an air of respect. "Of course, a war...what you soldiers are best at. I like! I've waged quite a few myself, you know. However, I have my *own* ideas for a victory stipulation... but you'll find those out in due time. In any case, though, you should be careful with your terms, Wolf. After all, "boy" hardly describes my fair...*sister*, and I, too, am an equal opportunity overlord..." "What in the world is Sonic babbling about now?" Ric inquired. "I don't know, but... Wolf's got *company*..." Tenay warned as a robed figure formed out of a white mist right behind the rodent. "I'm not quite sure, but that *appears* to be the same person that helped Kefkain at King of the Net." "Behold! I give you..." The Hedgehog paused dramatically as the newcomer discarded *her* robe. She was an athletic bat-type furry, roughly four feet tall, and attired in snug black jeans and a black leather jacket. An intricate necklace hung around her neck, and her eyes gleamed an unnatural red behind her shades. The Commando Rodent quickly backed up in fright... "...Wolfsbane," Sonic finished with a sneer. "Who in the world?..." JR exclaimed at the female vampire. "She's impressive for one of those furballs, I'll give her that... but where the heck does she come from?" Flair asked. Mike Tenay eyed the batwoman for a moment, before a flicker of recognition flashed in his eyes. "Wait a second!" Tenay realized. "It looks like... but no way! That *can't* be..." "... Foxglove," Wolf breathed in genuine shock. The transformed bat-girl slinked suggestively over to Wolf, who was quite unamused and completely unaffected by her unearthly charms. He turned to glare up at the now-freed Kefkain, who had allowed a slight grin to cross his face. "I am going to kill you," he said coldly. "Oh don't tell me that Kefkain... and that poor girl...!" an offended JR protested. "It *would* explain Foxglove's new 'gothic lifestyle'..." Ric reasoned. "Aw man, this can't get any worse," Tenay worried... ... as a familiar, mocking laugh was heard over the speakers. All three announcers paused in shocked horror. "No..." JR breathed in disgust. "Oh, dear God..." Tenay squeaked. Ric's eyes narrowed. "All right, now I *know* I'm not getting paid enough to do this job..." From behind the curtains, two armed soldiers stepped out into the entranceway. One was a furry military wolf, T-Bone, outfitted in a rigid military uniform. "There's T-Bone..." JR groaned. The other figure was a pale human in dull grey steel armor, who was toting a large, futuristic rifle. "And is that..." Tenay squinted. "... *Soldier Lucifer*?" "Jesus, and he was crazy enough on his *own*..." Flair said in disgust. Finally, the trintron lit up to show a shadowy office and stunned silence flooded the arena as the announcers' worst fears were realized. An infamous, lagomorphic furry figure nonchalantly removed his top hat and peered intently down at the scene. Pippkin had returned. "My, my, my, we have been busy little girls and boys haven't we?" The maniacal rabbit inquired, a slight British accent coloring his speech. "It's *amazing* just how much this little place has grown in my absence... ah, and there's just the hedgehog I wanted to talk to!" Pippkin paused to grin ferally. "There's the *dreaded* Dark Sonic..." Wolf was shocked and slowly backed away from the screen. Kefkain maintained his predatory gaze at the Commando Rodent. Dark Sonic, however, seemed offended, and gazed up at the screen with impatience. "The great and fearsome *former* tyrant of *Dark Mobius*..." Pippkin continued, rolling his eyes. "I'll admit your work has a certain crude charm to it... but did you have *any* idea of the shoes you were attempting to fill when you decided to make yourself the main criminal genius of the Author Av..." "Look, Stewfixings, could we talk about this *after* my moment of *triumph*?!" Dark Sonic interrupted brusquely. Pippkin went silent, and his eyes narrowed venomously as he glared down to the ring. "You have...*no* idea... who I am, do you?" the rabbit hissed. "Hmmm... you were in 'Bucky O'Hare', weren't you?" the black hedgehog jeered cockily back at him. Horrified murmurs began to spread across the crowd as the two nefarious furries continued to glare at each other. A worried silence fell over the announcers' desk as Jim Ross turned back to his cohorts. "Guys, I think it's safe to say things just got worse..." ***************************************************************** *Well* after a long absence, 3A finally gets back on track!
