This rat-tailed eccenteric twenty-something technophile is the owner of the card and coffee shop "BakaBreakers" (Jamie's Home Away from Home) and is Jamie's Big Brother and mentor. He is also the top duelist in Nevada's newest Holographic League, a Constructed-format Competition using NeoGizmoTech's Holographic Arenas and--in the future--Dueling Disks. He's very amiable and sweet toward Jamie, whom he put under his wing to keep her out of trouble, and she's developing a crush on him as a return; one of the few guys she would do so. (Oh, and he's the other one of the two people in Landings that has the Power Nine) However, there is more to this man than meets the eye, and most of it concerns the Dominarian Book that is displayed in the store. Although the general public would more notice the connection he has with a mysterious magician figure at Las Vegas who was in Adam's life as a child. This figure's methods of raising Adam would give a Blue image to Planeswalkers like Jasmine, which contrasts with Adam's natural free spirit and non-conformative personality. As a duelist--Card Duelist, that is--Adam is your classic "Johnny," a player who loves the game and builds his decks with intelligence, style, and a bit of cunning. If there's a trick that can burst open Metagames, he'll use it. In fact, the deck that got him the title in the Holo-League is a tweaked Blue-Green Madness deck with Morph cards and Kamahl, Fist of Korsa. |
