Sonic looked up and noticed that the rain had finally stopped. "Okay......go!"
"FUUUUUR AND FREEEEEEDOM!"
"MOBIUS FOOOOOREEEEEEEEEVEEEEER!!"
"HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWLLLLL!!!!!"
"NOW!"
Seven warriors ran into the cave.
Four pairs of vermin paws pushed the poles. 
And eight creatures jumped up to see rubble fall upon the ones they loved.

"NOOOOOOO!!!"Tails yelled. He furiously punched Wedgeback, who was standing idle,stole his daggar
and opened the lock for his chains. He lept at the pile and started digging while his friends 
freed themselves. No one else dared. They had seen what Raza did to escapers. The slavers were
motivated into action. It took all of them to get the eight young ones back in line. Raza sighed
and howled at the same time. Tails looked sullenly at Raza as they walked. "No need to run! 
There's no one following us now!"
"You should have killed me when you had the chance."
"Why? I've killed Sonic and Sally. That's enough for one day."
"Because now I live for one thing, to kill you."
Raza tried to scare him with a stare. Tails just stared back. Raza grabbed a willow whithe and 
began beating Tails with it until it broke. The fox hardly felt it. "Get yourself another cane,
half face!"
"Threeclaws, Bageye! Take this one up front with you!"
Raza shuddered, glad she couldn't feel the eyes of the fox bore into her.

Sonic pushed some rubble away. "Is everyone okay?"
"I think so, except I'm buried up to my middle in rocks." Ryan moaned.
Sonic did his buzzsaw move. "If this doesn't work to get us out, nothing can!"
He tried it and bounced back. "Nothing can."
They began to pull Ryan while Jabez and Ringo moved away the rocks. Ryan popped out like a cork
from a wine bottle.
Sonic looked up. "Shoot! We need air!"
Knuckles, who hadn't been doing much ever since they left, got up and pull out a small sword.
"Never leave home without one."
He made a small hole, giving them fresh air. 

Suddenly, squabbeling was heard. Sally smiled. "Okay, guys, listen up. Knuckles, give me that 
pole over there that was used to push this rubble on us.I'll put it through and get the attention
of whoever is up there. Now, it's risky, but we have to try!"
She pushed it through. In a flash, it was pushed back. Anil yelled. "Help!Help! Can you hear us?"
More squabbeling was heard, followed by a voice. "Who are you? State your name and tell us
if you are of the Guosim!"
Sonic smiled. "Thank Destiny, it's the Guosim!"
Ringo scratched his head. "Guosim, who in the name of stripes are they?"
"Guerrela Union Of creatureS In Mobius(or it can be Marshank). They're very touchy, so let me do
the talking."
Sonic yelled. "If you are the Guosim, then let me speak to the Mace!"
"Who are you?"
"How do you know the Mace?"
A gruff voice came. "Yes, I am the Mace! What do you want of me?"
"Thomas you old bossywhiskers, it's me, Sonic the Hedgehog!"
"Sonic, should have reconized that Knothole accent. Ha, your in a pretty pickle, no doubt, but
just wait around, my creatures will get you out and you can have lunch. Who's in there with you?"
"Me, Sally, Knuckles, a wolf Anil, Ringo Raccoon, Jabez Ferret, and Ryan Nightweaver."
"What? Ryan Nightweaver? That old scoffbag? Forget I mentioned lunch!"
Ryan looked indignent. "Old scoffbag indeed. Hmmph!"

A mole suddenly came through. "Hoo zurt, Oi be'n Gaffer. Oi'll 'elp thoi out, but cun we do it'n
smoillest first?"
Ryan morphed into a mole. "Sure, why not! It'll be easier with two moles on the job!"
With two of them, Sonic and co. were freed with in an hour. They related their story. 
"Slavers! Murderous villains of Mobius! Young Kalamka the badger was playing outside of Marshank
when Raza nabbed her. Rysa,Greenbeck and I grabbed 3 score creatures mostly weasels and squirrels
and went out after the masked wolf as the Guosim."
Sonic looked dead serious for once in his life. "He took Tails, Callista, Liz, Matti, and Wombat
Stu and killed two. I thank you for your help, but we must go on."
A gleaming light shown in Thomas's eye. "Sonic, we're going with you and there's no way you can
stop the Guosim."

The slavers had reached the cliffs. The top was high above them. Raza tok out a strange looking
pipe and blew into it. Rope ladders unwound down the cliffside as Raza smiled beneath her mask.
"Come on! Climb up them! Slagar, when you get up there, look out for Stonefleck."

The climb up the ladders was completed without any incident. Slagar the fox sat around waiting
for the rat Stonefleck. Stonefleck was lying against a rock. The fox looked in astonishment as 
the rat seemed to materialize out of the rock. "Are you Stonefleck?"
The rat, who was a dirty gray like stone, just said "Where is the masked wolf?"
Raza appeared. "Hold on a second Stonefleck, I have to deal with someone. Wedgeback!!!"
The stoat turned around to see Raza standing at the edge of the cliff. "Who me?"
"Who do you think, get over here!"
Wedgeback looked at his companions who just shrugged. Raza grabbed him by the belly and breathed
directly down Wedgeback's face. Raza had never looked scarier. "Wedgeback, when I say watch the
slaves, I mean do a good job. You let them escape. No thanks to you, I caught them again. There's
no room for bumblers in my slaving band. You'll have to go." She held the frightened stoat over
the edge.
Wedgeback's eyes rolled wildly. "I'll go Raza. Just let me go."
"As you wish!" Raza let go of him while giving him a slight push. Wedgeback fell to the ground
far below.

Raza peerd down at the crushed corpse of Wedgeback and saw something she didn't like. "No! Their
still alive?! $#!*"
The wolf picked up the slave line. "We need to move, Stonefleck. There's someone following us."
Stonefleck pulled up the rope ladder.

Sonic and co. with the Guosim reached the cliffs. "Shoot!" Sally cried. "How are we going to get
up there?"
A voice that sounded full of energy and delight came out. "Maybe I can help you........."
