BakaBreakers Strip 005

New Rant: 29 Nov 2001

Well, I'm happy to report that I updated more than just the strip. The Notebook where Adam keeps his notes is updated too, with an Official 'One Year Later' report on the town of Sunport, complete with official names of the Townspeople caught in 'The Killer's Game.' I settled for the replaced first names and a decnet tweaking of the last names so keep me from infriging on any legal copyrights, and since most of you know "Small Town X," you'll be able to follow along with Adam's description of life in this version of the Small Town--Just think Parallel Universes as shown by the Sci-Fi show "Sliders" and the latest movie entitled, "The One" and you're halfway there.

If you're wondering about Adam referring to things he shouldn't actually supposed to know, I must explain a vital part of the FoxFire Universe. Adam Packbell is, by the use of pen names, an Parallel Universe Version of myself--a PUV for short, where as a child, he recieved an Potteresque tome called "The Book of FoxFire." You'll find out more about it elsewhere in this site. It can house every jot and tittle of anything written, past present and future, and can be tailered to anyone in particular, especially the person holding it. This book may not be put into play here as in other stories, such as Adam's origin story where the book comes to him--Yes I typed that right; it picks who gets to read it--and the adventures it takes him. The origin tale is still in it's writing stages; I'm about 25% done, and will tie into another series. If enough people are interested, I'll put it up on the site.

Please excuse Adam's gross ingorance of the fourth wall in the update in the notebook. I will try to keep that to a limited level and will threaten Adam with some very nasty uses as a writer.

As for the reason that the next strip will be a ways off, the Saturday after this comming one, there is an reason: Yep, my parents commandeered my butt again. {groan} This time I'll be petsitting in their house with a whimpy computer and no real connection from this Saturday to the comming Thursday. I hope to make up for that time by making a lot of strips to get up to speed, and hopefully get more character designs in, especially with NeoGizmoTech.

However, I'll still pop into my apartment every other day to check up on my E-Mail, so I won't be completely away at this time. I hope that I'll have some kewl stuff to pass around when I get back to my normal routine next week.
