Foamy is God
There's this squirrel over at Ill Will Press who is telling exactly what I fricking feel about the holidays: http://www.illwillpress.com/xmess.html For the uninitiated, he's a squirrel who cusses like Conker--I believe that they're related somehow--and is not afraid to tell you what he thinks about stuff that pisses him off, like Starbucks Coffee, the Atkins Diet--Carbs are good for you--and other stuff that's a riot for those who can stomach the strong language.
Just remember Scar-chan's winter holiday wish: I really don't give two Phracks what you celebrate, just make it a happy one and just allow others to enjoy their, whatever the Phrack they've celebrating. Christmas, Hanukkah, Ramadan, Kuanzaa, Winter Solstice, Heck, even Saturday. It's a short two weeks, people. It's not worth throttling each other over something that attempts to foster a little peace on earth.

It appears that many people including myself can breathe a sigh of relief. Not because Bush actually won, 274-242, but because Kerry did the right thing and conceeded instead of calling the lawyers to come en masse to take this election to the courts.
My faith in democracy has been restored this morning.
It is 1:11 AM, November 3rd.
The score is 269-221 Bush. Dubya's just one vote short. There are 6 states left with vote counts who are slim. Dispite some problems with mechanical breakdown and physical exaustion, no major lawsuits a la 2000 are called.
I do hope this meand that I'll be voting in 2008...
