ABSENTEE NOTICE and planned renovationFirst off, I'd like to note that I'll be out of town Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 21 and 22, so I won't be online. I'll do my best to keep up to tabs on my E-Mail though. And second, there is a reason why I'm not updating the site. Now that I'm getting my Income Tax Returns, I intend on getting a new web server account which will let me do SSI and Perl scrips. When I get that account, I'll remake FoxFire Studios, and nearly all of the stories from the beginning--including Planeswalker--using the new technology I have. I'll keep you posted. Not this doesn't mean that I'll be moving completely away from Web Union. It still has a place, mostly for informal projects and ideas to share with friends. In that end, I'll be keeping that server, as well as Furnation, which serves as my picture archive.

Keenspace Finally Kicked in!!!And now, I can actually get back into my site updates. I apologise for having you wait all this time. I hope that I could be more regular in 2004. I also made a new years resolution to get back to 1600 in my MTGO rating. Wish me good luck. I'll be needing it. List of work on the site:
- The Addition of Livewire Latte!! As I'm typing this, the update has yet to kick in, but I've made the initial upload of the site and pretty much have it set up. Expect me to hammer the bugs out of that site between now and New Year's.
- Improved on the Logos and removed that watermark, which gets annoying after I switched to Mozilla
- Put "It's Me Samwise" into Ivan Mayne's page
- and added 1 page to Planeswalker!
On the To Do List:
- Hammer out the Livewive Latte site as I progress
- Add a new Johnny Briz wing (previously known as Jonathan Brisby) to go along with what I call the Roy Revolution
- Get the current scene in Planeswalker over and done with so I can get back to the story
- Finally get back to BakaBreakers!!
- And of course, finish building that Affinity deck
I better roll up my sleeves. I got real work to do.

Still working on getting my Keenspace account going, which will get my site back up and running, along with all those backlogged pages of my comics, until then, here's a little something from Ivan Mayne, soon to be put on his site. Enjoy it and have a Merry Merry and a Happy Happy:
IT'S ME SAMWISE (sung to the tune of "Gangsta's Paradise" by Coolio)
As I walk through the marshes filled with the stench of death, I take a look at ourselves And realize there's just two of us left Gollum's held that ring and been laughing so long Frodo and I figure his mind is probably gone This ring crossed us alas even though we didn't deserve it Suddenly we're stalked by evil we've long unheard of We gotta watch how we're talkin' And where we're walkin' Or me and Mr Frodo might end up in the swamp I hate to admit it, but I gotta folks My dreams of the shire are goin' up in smoke Though,I'll be the hero little hobbits wanna be like For the rest of my life Provided that all of us survive.
1-Been spending most our lives Living in that Shire paradise Now we're risking both our lives Mr Frodo and me, Samwise.
The dark lord Sauron, he wants his own ring In its small round gold circle, it held Middle Earth's fate. So we gotta leave the cozy little Shire rooms And get the damn ring thrown into the Cracks of Doom. I ain't a fool and never had this in mind But the ring's on Frodo's neck, and the Nazgul right behind! Though we got Legolas, Gimli , Gandalf, Strider real name's Aragorn to fend off the Dark Riders, The lure of the ring is just a finger away Boromir succumbed, Galadriel nearly, what can I say? The Nazgul were great kings, but Sauron claimed their souls, And to that edge draws nearer Mr Frodo.
There's terrible things Frodo can see What befell those kings could happen to he.
Been spending most our lives, living in that Shire paradise, But now we're risking both our lives Mr Frodo and me, Samwise.
Gotta burn the damn ring, seize the final hour, Or Sauron he will obtain all-absolute power, Orcs and mortals are fighting, and all the Ents are waking The elves will soon be leaving And Arwen's all pouty-looking. Daddy told her it's all right To go bonk a mortal prince, But if the stud dies, what's gonna happen since? Kings and Princes, elves and dwarves,a bedtime story "Yawn!" are gonna go the judges of the Academy That's why I know this movie should be ending now, fool!
Three hours of your life You've been sitting there taxing your eyes, Get out once the credits rise, You'd need some sunshine and blue skies.
Tell me nerds are you too blind to see Liv Tyler's married, drop your fantasy.
There's a lesson to learn from this movie, For great vistas, shoot in Old NZ!

Update on the siteThe next strip is done, but I may need to explain why I'm not updating the site as much. I've currently applied for a Keenspace account for me to put Livewire Latte in. When I'm accepted and I set up a Beta site to get the comic rolling, then I'll make the update into the site, which includes another Planeswalker Strip, and hopefully, I'll get back to the BakaBreakers main story; that page is something that's been collecting dust! :P Maybe I should just start that page over :/ or something.

New Strip to get back into the site on:
LiveWire LatteThings been yanking me from the site way too much this month. But at least I managed to start a new strip which I'm putting on the alt.binaries.coffee newsgroup. It's a BakaBreakers story which is not part of the FoxFire Universe storyline, (Unless I manage to have it replace the on-hold BakaBreakers story) where Nitsan meets up with the group over at the coffee shop. I hope that the response I get from this gives me enough fire under my butt to get back to work.

This week has been pretty hectic for me. With work, some RPs, sluggy progress in comics, MTGO, finding out that I have Asperger's, etc, etc, etc. Man, what a week. I do hope this one's better.
Nevertheless, I got the next Planeswalker strip done, which I've posted up.
