Part of Copper Mystran's upbringing for Adam is making Adam believe that he's a kitsune, inhabited by a vupline spirit being known for their smarts and trickery, and encouraged him to be a class clown of sorts. Prankery and Joking around was strongly included in the suggestions he got, along with the need for him to laugh along with life and be in general free-spirited. Because of this, Copper not only put fox ears on him (and strapped on a pair of tails) but also designed a couple costumes for him to wrear, one fursuit in the next pic, and this more human-like outfit you see here.
