The Authors
At some point or another, most everyone who posted on The Perfect Chaos Gang gave writing a shot. These ultimate embodiments of self-insertion fanfiction did have some interesting quirks to them. For some reason, even though Andre Dirk was a major reason anyone even noticed the site in the first place, he was painted as a villain. So was A.J. Freda, because he dared to say he didn't like the fact Sonic was redesigned in Sonic Adventure. 1998 was a very different time.
Group Experiments
- PAFF's
- What the heck is a PAFF? “Pass Along Fan Fics” followed the rules of the age old campfire tradition. Someone would start writing a story, then “pass” it along for someone else to continue. These would get weird very quickly, and were rarely finished.
- Collaborative Efforts
- On occasion, more than one member of TPCG would end up writing something together. Since they don't easily fit in the author sections above, they get their own page.
