| Robotnik's first attempt at creating a metallic counterpart to his
hedgehog nemesis, Silver Sonic proved to be too unwieldy to be a match for
the agile original. Even a massive upgrade didn't save the
destined-to-be-dross Badnik, nor was syphoning power from the Master
Emerald of any use in a battle against Knuckles the Echidna.
With the creation of a sleeker and far superior successor -- Metal Sonic -- Silver was abandoned for good. Or was he...? -- Starring Roles --
