| Hot-tempered, reclusive, and furiously defensive, Knuckles prides
himself as being a one-man operation. Although he enjoys a rivalrous
friendship with Sonic and company, he'll rarely be found "hangin' with the
gang." His feet are planted firmly on Angel Island, where destiny dictates
he will guard the Master Emerald to the day of his death.
Knuckles is exactly the opposite of the free-roaming, no-holds-barred Sonic. He's a man (or echidna, rather) with a mission, and an obligation to his ancestors. Being the last living member of a lost race, Knux's duty is to guard the Master Emerald and the mysterious power within. He's also a skilled fighter, packing one mother of a punch. He can navigate virtually any terrain with his abilities to dig, glide, and climb. Having been born and raised on Angel Island, he knows all of its secrets, and thus can easily stay one step ahead of any intruders. -- Starring Roles --
