Chapter 7- The Fun Really Begins 
 
 

 The next day, the sun was shining brightly. The storm had not caused much damage, but the beach would not reopen to the public until that coming Friday. But nobody really seemed to mind. They could do some outdoor activities now, like horseback riding or swimming in the backyard pool. Also, the festival was not very far away now, so that was something to really look foward to. 

 Marlene had rekindled her relationship with Jacky, and since it turned out she lived in Armstone City herself, it wasn't to be just a summer fling. It was very rare for anyone to see the two of them far apart. 

 Lin-Lin also had a love interest. She had fallen in love with Bahn at first sight, even though she couldn't see part of his face. But Bahn didn't pay much attention to Lin-Lin, and Lin-Lin wasn't sure how to express her feelings. 

 The day the beach reopened, the gang decided that they would spend Friday night there. They would have to provide their own music and snacks, but that wasn't too big a deal. That turned out to be the best alternative to hitting town until there was more town to hit. 

 "Do you think any of us will want to leave after the festival?" Ruth asked the others. "Personally, I think this is great, but Armstone City's greater." 

 "I'm used to this place now," said Tokio, "but I still miss Armstone." 

 "I've never even seen Armstone City," said Lei-Lei. "But I still wanna come home with you guys." 

 "Me too," said her sister. 

 Another week passed with nice weather and everyone enjoying themselves. That Friday night was spent just the same as the previous. The next Friday was the festival.
