Sonic the Hedgehog had just landed on the Floating Isalnd, he was there to help 
Knuckles with a new enemy. This enemy was stronger and smarter than Robotnik.
The night was almost over, it's 6:00 A.M.
SONIC: Man, this is creepy!
Sonic sees Mighty the Armadillo and zooms up to him.
MIGHTY: Sonic, we need your help, our new foe, Dark Shadow is after the Chaos Emerald!
SONIC: That's why I'm here, to help.
MIGHTY: He's really strong, I'm not sure if we can handle him.
Sonic follows Mighty to the Rainbow Zone where the Chaotix is meeting.
KNUCKLES: Thanks Sonic, for coming.
ESPIO: The only way to beat this guy is to make it so he couldn't see the us.
VECTOR: You numbskull, it'll take more than you to beat him.
The sun started to rise.
SONIC: I'll get some Freedom Fighters to help.
Sonic radios his friends. A few minutes later Bunnie Tails and Ashura show up.
BUNNIE: We're here Sonic.
Knuckles: All right guys it's 7:00, Dark Shadow is attacking in 30 minutes!
Let's be ready.
30 minutes later DS attacks. 
DarkShadow: Now I will take over the Floating Island!!
KNUCKLES: All right guys, we'll do this like we did when Sonic was a robot.
Bunnie, get ready! 
Bunnie flys up and starts shooting with her proton cannon at DS's robot slaves.
Only one robot was left. 
R0B0T: Resistance is futile, prepare to be destroyed! 
The 'bot zaps Bunnie and she goes down hard.
KNUX: My turn!!
He steps up on the launch pad and blasts off!
KNUX: Y@#00! You're goin' down!
