DATA: Metal Sonic was originally created to be a robot counterpart for Robotnik's
principal enemy, Sonic the Hedgehog. In order to achieve this, Robotnik scanned Sonic's own
biological data, and programmed it into Metal Sonic. As a result, Metal Sonic holds all of
Sonic's own knowledge, skills, and wisdom. But in an unforseen side-effect of this
biodata-scanning technique, he has also retained Sonic's emotions, feelings, and heart. Although
he is ruled by his programming, Metal Sonic is torn between his creator and the feelings he's
not supposed to have.
Under normal circumstances, Metal Sonic can match Sonic's speed, although that isn't taking into mind Sonic's various "Super" forms. He can also fly via the rocket propulsion engine on his back, fire lasers through the hole in his stomach, and generate two types of electricity fields. | |
