Twinkle Park = Panic Puppet

Now here's an unexpected surprise. As it turns out, the music track for Sonic Adventure's Twinkle Park Zone is an enhanced version of Sonic 3D Blast's Panic Puppet Zone (Genesis version). To hear it for yourself, head on over to SegaSonic.Net for the MP3. The original Genesis version is also posted, just incase you need a refresher (and you call yourself a Sonic fan).

Although 3D Blast is about the last Sonic game you'd expect them to pull a track from to remix, this isn't really as far out as it sounds. Jun Senoue, one of the chief composers for Sonic Adventure, was also one of the chief music programmers for the Genesis version of Sonic 3D Blast. Japanese gamers, who will never play the Genesis version of 3D Blast, shouldn't be the wiser. To US & UK gamers (that's most of us), it's a rather unexpected (yet still welcome) series tie-in.

Gee, if they pull a track from the most ridiculously named Zone in Sonic history, from the most uninspiring game in Sonic history, they must have the original Sonic jingle in there somewhere...
