Naka Speaks on Sequels

Yuji Naka recently spoke on possible sequels at E3. Despite relentless and endless rumors to the contrary, Naka-san continues to emphasize that there is no sequel to NiGHTS currently planned. There are no sequels to Burning Rangers planned either, although he did say that his staff would like to do one (which is probably the source of earlier rumors). Sonic Adventure may get a sequel depending on how well-received it is in the US. Hear that, kids? If you want more Sonic (and admit it, we all do), go out and reserve your Dreamcast and SA today! I have!

If I may editorialize on the rumors (and I darn well should be able to, this is my stinking site so nyah!)... I'm in full agreement with the team. I do not want a sequel to NiGHTS, the original is still flawless as it is. Burning Rangers, on the other hand, is open for countless improvements complements of the Dreamcast hardware. The graphically flawed original was fun as it was, so one can just imagine how incredible a Dreamcast sequel could be. *folds his arms* And that's just the way it is, so there.
