Famitsu Reviews SA

Famitsu magazine, the Next Generation of Japanese gaming publications, have recently reviewed Sonic Adventure. Their notoriously brutal rating system is based on a total scale of 40, with four people each rating the reviewed game on a scale of 10. Sonic Adventure scored a total of 38, with two reviewers giving it a 9 and the other two giving it a perfect 10.

Basically, SA is a phenomenal game, now beyond any doubt. I mean, if there was anyone out there who actually had doubts. Even Virtua Fighter 3tb only scored a 36, and the only game to ever score a perfect 40 was The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

Moreover, according to FGN Online, the game supports an interesting online option whereby players can download new features for the game straight off the Sonic Team web site. Whether this option will be incorporated into the US version is still unknown.
