Nightopians are the inhabitants of Nightopia, and are responsible for giving us the dreams we
have. (Nightmarens are, of course, responsible for the nightmares.) They are completely
defenseless to Wizeman's Nightmarens, and are often attacked.
Although Nightopians and Nightmarens are very different, it is possible to mix them together. The result: Mepians. Mepians are part Pian, part Maren, and the results can range from amusing to cute to scary, but always weird. These unusual mix-breeds come about after NiGHTS Drill Attacks a normal Nightmaren. The Maren rolls into a ball and bounces out of control around the Dream. If it hits a Nightopian on its crazy course, the Pian spouts a psychadelic egg. When the egg hatches, it will be part Nightopian, and part whatever creature the Pian that layed it was hit by. |
