Well, I guess I'll be eating my sombrero now. Despite all my poo-pooing, it
seems that Samba de Amigois coming home to Dreamcast! In Japan, anyway. On April
27, to be exact. And, well...that's all they've let on. No word on just how the interfaces are
going to work...haven't seen any special maraca controllers. If such a peripheral is planned,
though, it's probably going to cost a miniature fortune. (And the need for such a costly
peripheral is exactly what kept Virtual-On: Oratorio Tangram out of SoA's localization
offices.)
Sega of America still hasn't commented on the possibility of a US release,
either for arcades or Dreamcast. But even if they don't let the monkeys run wild over in this
hemisphere, now we'll at least have the option of importing. Time to ship the DC over to NCS for
a couple weeks...
