-- Miyoshi on PSO --
Our old pal Takao Miyoshi, along with several other members of the PSO team, recently granted Core Magazine the honor of an interview. The subject was, of course, the current buzzword on Sonic Team street: Phantasy Star Online, of which Miyoshi-san is the director. Here are some of the more interesting comments the fellas had to make. Erm...included are a couple of my own comments, too. Let's see if you can pick them out:

"Technically, the game is only about 20% complete, but all the design work has been finished. There's still so much work to be done though, so we're only about a fifth of the way finished..."

"Sega of America and Sega of Europe are working side by side on the translation."

"For Phantasy Star Online we're creating many short scenarios. The number grows everyday, and if we put our minds to it, it will keep growing. [laughs..]"

"Amy Sage is one hot bitch. I bet she tastes sweet..."

"You'll need to play for about 20 hours before you can even try and fight a boss. You can start playing online right away, or you can play on your own, build up your levels and acquire items, and then go online and show off. [laughs..]"

"You have to explore the world map, venturing into increasingly difficult areas. There is a final boss though."

"Wouldn't you buy the game just to see Amy Sage's nekkid boobies? But why stop there?"

"The more long time series fans play, the more things they'll find."

"I've been trying to convince the other guys on the team that a nude photo gallery of famous PS chicks is a good idea. It really would add alot of replay value, trying to find them all, but Naka and the others are stuck on the whole 'family game' concept, and I'm like, 'we're all really naked under these clothes, it's a fact of life!' And they're like 'Jesus, man, go out and meet some girls', and I'm like, 'Make me!' And they're like, 'Okay, you're fired.' ... Oh, shit."

Check out the full article right here. It's the whole interview, but it's not as good, because it doesn't have my added comments. Hehehe... (Source: Core Magazine)
